Pain Near Port Site

It does sound like we have had similar problems! Did your doctor tell you it was a rare thing for a port to flip? My doctor told me that it happened to less than 1%-2% or patients, but according to all the stories and other bandsters I've heard with similar problems. I just have a hard time believing that there aren't many people dealing with this. I'm glad to hear it's getting easier for you! -

I have an occasionally on my right side of my abdomen near my port. It usually happens when I bend to stand, sleep in an awkward position, or bend too far forward. My port flipped a few months ago and I had to go in for a revision. Does anyone else have this problem? What could it be? I don't think I can deal if the port has flipped again. I was banded in August of 2011 and have only lost 50 pounds. I would like to lose at least 100 more. I was considering the gastric sleeve if the port has flipped again.
