    Pain Near Port Site

It does sound like we have had similar problems! Did your doctor tell you it was a rare thing for a port to flip? My doctor told me that it happened to less than 1%-2% or patients, but according to all the stories and other bandsters I've heard with similar problems. I just have a hard time believing that there aren't many people dealing with this. I'm glad to hear it's getting easier for you!
  5. This happened to one of my friends and to me. Nothing helped, but after a month it finally went away. Hang in there!
  6. I have an occasionally on my right side of my abdomen near my port. It usually happens when I bend to stand, sleep in an awkward position, or bend too far forward. My port flipped a few months ago and I had to go in for a revision. Does anyone else have this problem? What could it be? I don't think I can deal if the port has flipped again. I was banded in August of 2011 and have only lost 50 pounds. I would like to lose at least 100 more. I was considering the gastric sleeve if the port has flipped again.
