    Has any one had too much at a meal and still felt fine? Maybe my sleeve too big. Hunger hormone is still around if you ask me.:thumbup:

    Just don't feel like another protein drink

    I am just a little over three weeks out. I am eating solid foods but chew chew chew. I still have a protein drink if I am low on protein. I have been doing fine. But all surgeon are different with the diets. Mine said at 3 weeks to try and add one new food a day and seee how thing go.

    I had a 1/2 of a large chicken breast for dinner last nite 230 calories. Lots of protein but the calories sure add up fast even if it is healthy. Any meat ideas out there that are not so high in calories?

    I ate a boiled egg at 4:00. Then at 0630 at 1 cup of fat free turkey chili then a cheese stick. I am worried that maybe I can eat too much without side effects. I would welcome some of the saliva right now so I could be punished.

  8. I just ate my first pureed meal. I took salmon and chopped it up and fine and chewed and chewed .Oh I am having such stomach pain. Could anyone give me some advise?

    My Weird Food

    I have to tell you what I made that I though "well I will try it" it was so yummy. Yellow Zuchinni drizzled with fat free Italian dressing and salt and pepper. I put it in tin foil and put it on the grill. It was so good.
  10. I am worried I may eat too much. I can eat more than I should and do not feel full. I have been keeping track of my Protein, Calories and Carbs. I am doing well but do not really know how many carbs or calories we should limit it too. I am almost 2 week Post OP.

    Thanks so much for your reply. You count calories and protein not carbs correct? It sure looks like you have been doing it right by your ticker. How long has it taken you to lost the posted weight? I have been getting between 465-620 calories. The protein has been 52-62. THe carbs have been 38-57. I try to walk twice a day. It looks like I need to keep the calories a lot lower. Then up the protein Breakfast- 1/2 cup cottage cheese and tuna or Salmon or a protein shake with skim milk. Lunch-fatfree refried beans with mozzarella cheese or yogurt with protien powder. Dinner-1/2 salmon or tuna with 1/2 cup cottage cheese. Snack thru the day have been-cheese stick, SF popcycle, Sugar free fat free pudding. Not all in one day may one snack in the evening. If I use my protien drink it is 190 calories. 100 protien and 90 skim milk so this adds up to quick. Does this look like anything you are doing? Thanks so much for helping out. L

    I am eating between 500-600 calories per day approx. Never over 700.

    Scale is still at stand still 2 weeks out now. I monitor all I eat. Today Calories were 5428, Carbs 32, Fat 22, and Protein was a bit low today 52. I am having trouble with constipation but this is unreal. I have lost 10# as of today since my surgery. Thanks for you help. I use MyFitnessPal.com which is wonderful.

    What should I keep the calories at and protein at on the average? I try not to go above 700 calories. But I usually am in the high 60's for protein.

    So the thing to do is to track protein and calories. Don't worry about carbs and fat. Well that will much easier than what I am trying to do. And you lost just fine.

    I just had a small amount of refried beans with maz. cheese melted on the top very very good. Good protein and all that.

    I just looked at again sorry it is 39. It was a good day for me 2 scrambled eggs Tiny bit of pureed soup, Unjury with 1 cup skim milk then a diet yogurt with 1 scoop of injury in. I container of sf jello and a cheese stick.
