We'll have to stay strong! I'm just hoping that I can concentrate at work. Not sure that I'll be doing my best thinking and work on this liquid thing but I'm going to try my best! -

Hey tippy and mb, I'm April 10th too. I go for the pre- op testing on Tuesday and start the pre- op diet Wed. My diet is the liquid protein, broth, jello and Popsicles. I'm dreading those 2 weeks! Good luck to us all! -

So, tonight was the last fancy dinner that my husband and I will be able to do before my pre- op diet begins on Wednesday. Nice wine... Nice dinner.... Nice dessert! I know that I will be able to eat again in moderation but this has been a big part of our entertainment. We are going to need to find other ways to have fun and enjoy life! I got very teary eyed tonight when I told my husband that everything was going to be fine and there was nothing for him to worry about! I reminded him that no matter what happened to always know that I was doing this for me and my health! My Mother died at 64 and my father at 66. Both were overweight and had high blood pressure! I need to change this path that I'm on! Can't wait for my new life to begin.......Healthy! Thanks for listening!

Yes, you look amazing! I hope to follow your same path. 2xl to small! Wow! I would love that!

I love this topic and can't wait until I have this problem! I know for most of us that we have several sizes in our closet because we are so used to the yo-yo dieting! This WILL be different! We can do this! -

What Was Your Final "straw That Broke The Camels Back"
Houston17 replied to bigjoe102's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Traveling to Paris- dream of a lifetime for me! My husband and I were with friends- another couple. Our friends wanted to go to the top of the Arc de Triomphe...... 284 stairs. I am the youngest of the 4 and the only one over-weight. I thought that I was going to pass out. My husband stopped many, many times with me on our way up. I was so embarrassed and mad at myself! We got home from the trip and I went to the first seminar that week! -
Woot! Woot! Congrats!
-
Congrats! Wishing you a speedy recovery!

Thanks for the update! Take care of yourself!
