After a long battle of weight gain and loss over the years. Then the uphill battle was realizing I needed help in

Weight loss...so after long research on what type of weight loss I wanted. I almost had the Gastric Bypass the evasive kind that I am so grateful I did not choose!

I heard about the Lap-Band soon afterwards and started looking into it and it took me almost a year before I decided

to have the Lap-Band surgery. I am so happy that I made my choice and never regretted my decision to have the surgery done.

It has been a struggle after having the Lap-Band, the constant battle of measurements. I don't measure when I cook!

Now I am learning to measure the amount which is still a headache for me but it will take time and I have to be patient with myself!

I have met wonderful people who have had the Lap-Band before me and their experiences of weight loss was not magic they talk about the battle they endured and learned to how eat right, measure right and so on.
