Never thought I would be so happy over a 3 lbs lost, But I Am!!! I am getting so close to my goal I can taste it I was going through pictures on my old computer and found some old pictures! Thank God I had the surgery

Beside self confidence and pride, feeling free from food!! Being able to eat and walk away from the table without stuffing my face is INCREDIBLE!! I used to eat to a coma, and dream of what I was gonna eat next.

I am officially 13 months out, and the scale will NOT budge. Actually it did last week. It went up a pound!!!! I just about had a heart attack lol!! Toady I decided to remind myself what this journey is all about. I needed a reminder of what I have accomplished thus far. I need to keep a positive outlook, I need to stay focus and stay away from the scale

I have not loss not ONE pound since the last time I was here :ph34r: Last week I actually GAINED A POUND How?!? I don't even know lol!! Yet, I look slimmer....how weird is that?! Now in the past, I would've gone off track and use this stall as an excuse to eat my face off. Thanks to my sleeve( praise the Lord), I am able to stay in the game and not over do it!!! STAY STRONG FRIENDS :wub:

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO ME!!!! ( Picking up mic) I want to take moment and thank God.... LOL!!! No seriously THANK YOU GOD ALMIGHTY!!! I was so worried about complications, infections, leaks and most of all FAILING!! To be at this point right now in my journey, I can safely say I DID IT!!!! I have been the same weight for the past six weeks or so. Going up and down two pounds. But strangely enough I don't care. The scale doesn't bother me. I am content with the way I feel, the way I look and life and general. I WAS OFFERED A NEW POSITION AT WORK AND I AM LOOKING INTO GOING BACK TO SCHOOL!!! welcome!! Don't worry about the gain. You are packed with all the IV fluids that you received while in the hospital. I remember being hungry at first as well. All I could was think about food. I cried during TV commercials and when I smelled food in my house. But I am here to assure you, it will get better. I learned about head hunger on this site, and it is stronger and more painful than physical hunger. Dehydration makes it worst. One member suggested that I sip on my water/ chrystal light to stay hydrated. That helped curb the edge of the hunger that I was feeling. Stack up on Sugar free Jello, SF Popsicles and Chrystal light. Sip, slow and often and walk as much as you possibly can. Hang in there:)

In the before pic, I was wearing a size 26/28 from Igigi. The after pic is a XL dress from Marshalls. The bikini might have to wait until after my nip and tuck lol!!

I went from a size 12W to size 11! I had to buy new shoes within six weeks of having surgery.

just found my pics! Ahhhhhh.....memories......lol!!

same here!! mine had streristrips over it....by the time they fell off, the site was completely closed and healed.
