    Questions

What size bougie will he be using? How much of the stomach does he plan on removing? Instead of worrying about my gallbladder later, is it more practical removing it now?

    Privacy Issues At Work

Since word is out, not much you can do about it. Don't provide any more details! Most people will not be content with knowing about the surgery. They are going to want details!! How much did it cost, how did it go, how much can you eat, what are you eating, and the big on: HOW MUCH DID YOU LOSE??? SAY NOTHING!! that will kill them on the inside, trust me lol! Your boss took away your choice to keep this a secret, but you are in control from this point on. You got the time off that you needed, so forget about her. But from now on her and all the rest can only watch you get skinny but not be privilege to any more information. I am so sorry you went through that, but you have control of your life again!! best of luck dear.

  10. You are welcome!! people has been so good to me here, i am glad to share what I have learned The name of the supplement is Bifera. Please check with your doctor for his preference of course. That was Dr. Wizeman's choice, might not be his. It took me a little searching to find it, but it really helped me!!!
  11. I was extremely tired as well!! after my blood works my doctor prescribed me an Iron supplement. My blood level was fine but my iron count was low. He also stressed the need to stay on top of my Protein intake. My level was ok but felt it was border line low enough, to contribute to my fatigue. After about a week of taking the supplement I can tell you I felt much much better. Exercising longer and not as exhausted at the end of the day. My B12 level was fine but still felt tired, once my Iron level went the fatigue got better. As for the stall went though it as well. It happens. Your body will adjust to the lost and you will start losing again. And it will happen again, and so forth....Just keep doing the right thing. Hope you feel better and don't forget to drink enough Water, because dehydration will make you feel weak as well....
  12. So sorry you went through all this! May you continue to feel better and soon return home to your family!

    Question To Old Timers

I only add to really try and not snack!! Keep your water bottle near by and sip on that. Take time to eat your meals while at work. I always make sure that my lunch is a nice piece of fish, chicken or beef( well cooked), with spinach or green beans that way I stay full longer. That helps me stay away from grazing. And I always carry some Greek yogurt with me, just in case, I feel like a little something extra. Up your protein, drink your water, exercise, lower your carbs, keep your calories in check and see if that helps!! we are here for you!

    9 Days After Surgery

There are days when you will be to eat more than the day before or less. As long as you stop eating when comfortably full/satisfied. Listen to your body. You will know when you are pushing yourself too far. The swelling is going down so you will be able to consume more. But you will notice when you eat a high protein meal, you feel full quicker and eat less. And the bulkier the protein in the meal, the longer you will stay full.
  16. felt the same but it got better:)

    Wls To Cure Infertility?

That was one reason I went for this surgery. My daughter is 11yrs and I could never get pregnant after her. My period was very irregular. I used to go three months without one and have it stay two weeks. Than it will show a month later last four days and that's it for another three months or so. Since surgery I am regular. Can't really get pregnant yet since we are to wait at least 12-18 months. But I have a great feeling that I will get pregnant as soon I get the green light from my doctor. CAN'T WAIT!!

3Rd Day Post-Op, Qs... Is This Normal?

Sherry77 is right! The weight gain is a result of all the IV that you received and the swelling from major surgery. During surgery I was told that my abdomen will be pumped up with air, and the best way to get rid of it is to walk. Simply. You might also notice that the pain travels to your shoulder area. I was told that was normal and to be expected. Again the solution was to walk. The incision site on the left did feel numb to touch at first as well as my navel area. But to be honest I did not worry much about that lol! When drinking, remember not to use a straw and to sip slowly taking small sip Be patient and Hope you feel better...
