    Haven't Had Protein

Look into already made drinks so you don't fall behind next time. Protein is a big part of our weight loss, got to stay on top pf it:)

    Corn?

I am almost four months out and corn is still on my No list. But when I eat mixed veggies, I do eat the corn.

    Cant Stop Crying! Help!

I went through it as well! I was driving once and felt this overwhelming need to cry. I pulled over and just cried my eyes out I had little episodes here and there, but that was the major one.
  5. I had a lazy/lousy day :( just plain old tired!! Did not go to the gym and barely got my water/protein in. I slept and watched TV most of the time. Gonna have to do better tomorrow...

    10 Weeks Post Op

I feel the same way! I am really unable to take pride in the work that I have done so far, simply because I am not able to see it!! I went shopping for a dress: SIZE 2X from a 4X!! To me I looked no different; but my husband told something that is very true!! He said I am looking at what I have LEFT to lose, instead of what I ALREADY lost...And that's maybe why I can't see the change

    From the album: AFTER PICTURES!!

A full body shot of my progress. I will use the same dress from now on so I can really see the difference:)
  8. Got a nice tip from a fellow gym member: on days when I am going to exercise, I have to increase my caloric intake so my body does not shut down me!

    Doggy Bags And Leftovers....

YOU ARE SO, OH SO, RIGHT!!!!! It is no longer my job to find a home for food! no longer my job to clean my plate or to make sure the food does not go to waste!! One of the thing I have been doing since the sleeve is learning to walk away from my plate with food still left in it . I am teaching that little girl in me, not to feel guilty about the starving children or how it's a sin to throw away good food. I have saved and carried home my fair share of yummy good food... I pilled on 340lbs worth of good food on my body. No More of that.
  11. You gave me hope!!! thank you for posting

    Stalling Help

sounds like you are doing nothing wrong. This is all part of the journey. Keep up with your protein, water and exercise. The scale will move again. I hate stalling more than anything

    Fruit Anyone?

Mango is my absolute favorite right now! my sleeve does not make a peep when i eat that And it does not take much to satisfy me.
  18. Biggest Loser ( got it at Walmart) it is fantastic. I am sure I can eat more. But I don't want to continue the vicious cycle of eating until " passing out" so I cap myself at the 6weeks food limit on my NUT list. I eat my Protein first and then my veggies( usually spinach or green beans). and yes I eat soooo slooow it drives my friends insane

    Coffee

I was told the same. Acid reflux seems to be a harsh side effect of the sleeve. And coffee just brings is out for some people. I do not want to chance it.
  20. I always measure my food! I invested in a good scale that also tells me the caloric value. At three months out, I don't eat more than 4oz. There are times, depending of how dense the protein is, I don't finish. I am desperately trying to teach myself not to eat until it hurts. I need to be content with the amount my body needs to be healthy. Not a bite more. That's how I got in trouble in the first place.
  21. I don't think my body got the memo...I NEED TO LOSE WEIGHT FAST LOL!!!! I need to send it a message. For the next week, back to basic: Five protein shakes and a lean meal + 1 1/2 hour exercise. Time to get things rolling again!

    Why?!?!?

your stomach went through some major trauma during surgery! it needs time to heal. A liquid diet is the best thing at this point. No stress on your new stomach and on your fragile staple line. It will be over before you know it. When I got annoyed with my liquids I just thought about the damage I could cause to my sleeve if I don't follow the rules. Since no food is worth a leak, infection, and my life I held on until it was the proper time to progress to solid food. The time will come. Be patient:)
  23. awful day at work!!!!!!! before I would eat my face off to cope with the stress, now I am off to the gym:) THANK GOD and THANK YOU SLEEVE!!!

    Attention Experienced Sleevers

I do get hungry.... I don't feel the "OMG I AM STARVING" sensation that I use to have at every meal time lol! I just gently "feel" it's time to eat
