Have you taken any Pepto Bismol? That will turn poop black. -

4 Hours To Go...sleevie Here I Come!
jme53071 replied to krystina's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Going to hold you up in prayer right now. You're going to do GREAT! You'll be so happy to have a healthier life. I'm 6 weeks post op and in those 6 weeks am down 30lbs. Best wishes. So excited for you!!!! -
I highly recommend the Prevacid Solutab. They dissolve easily in your tummy. Works WONDERS. I have acid reflux daily. Mostly at night when I lay in bed. Not good. Be sure to ask for something or at very least, keep a bottle of Pepto in the house.

Oh wow! So sorry to hear this. Would it help if I assured you this is just a short period of lousy time compared to a lifetime ahead of you that'll be so much healthier?!? -
I made myself organic chicken broth, homemade. So much better than canned!

What Are Your Best Tips For Eating Slowly?
jme53071 replied to AngieG0410's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm REALLY struggling with this, too! I do tend to go a little easier when I cut up the food into teeny bites. Then I'm more aware that I'm supposed to go slowly. I guess I'm just used to shoveling in mass quantities for the past 40 years.
