Ok short answer is yes it can for some men and it's usually not until there are performance issues that we seek out medical help. As a man diagnosed with low t I can tell you that it can affect attitude , emotion , mood , energy , stamina (all kinds) , desire , testosterone is what makes us men and it's level largely determines what kind of man. I started hrt 4 months ago and have never felt better in my life . My ins denied and my dr called and pleaded for me. If you don't get anywhere with ins you can get a prescription and use injectable its not very expensive and to me worth it at any price. Next to sleeve surgery the best medical decision I have ever made!!!

Silly question really
vsginnj replied to flyme_places's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Be careful what you wish for ! I think the only place I was comfy The first 6 months was the steam room at the gym! -
It's normal to not be hungry its also very common to dislike-hate water but you have to drink, not an option, actually I.V. Fluid the only option. Try some decaf / herbal tea or sugar free ice pops .anything you can put in water so you can drink it ; crystal light, mio drops, Please stay hydrated that is what's most important right now.

When you say hard candy do you mean some type of Protein that dissolves in your mouth or the sugary kind that helped a lot of us get here? The fact that you are asking other peoples opinions says to me that you know that's a bad idea and you want a cosigner, which you will find here; or you have no idea what happened to your stomach 7 days ago and don't know what and what not to eat at this stage. If the latter it true put a slice of lemon in your Water, keep drinking , toss the candy, and call your doc/ nut and get an eating plan. Good luck !

Stop asking me questions!
vsginnj replied to spoiledbratt97's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It's a touchy subject , you gotta do what feels right to you. I am from the tell the whole truth answer the questions and keep it moving camp, I told everyone in advance of surgery and anyone who asks, and have given my surgeons tele number several times. It keeps me honest with myself and personally accountable, who wants to be the guy who had wls and got fat again! I hope my 500 lb brother catches a wiff of my moderate success and wants some of this ,then my 375 lb brother then my 300 lb sister ect.ect. -

You cannot buy testosterone at gnc! You can get things that may resemble it molecularly,or stimulate production ( possibly ) or even rhyme with it .... But for the real stuff you have to see a dr. Unless you are willing to buy questionable sourced hormones from the Internet. I wouldn't advise that.

Ok I'll be the d**k who asks the question you all were thinking! Why would you get 85% of your stomach removed and be eating Chinese take out a month later? Ooh I know I'm a mean man, but sometimes "support is a kick in the rear" really, hate me if you want , but think it over and the honest answer you tell yourself is exactly where change must start for you! For sure one of the biggest changes for lots of us is taking control/ responsibility for what we eat. This takes planning ,shopping and preparing our food ourselves. Please, you are early in recovery make healthy changes now, so you can be successful in the long term! Good luck!!!

Do you mean raspberry ketones? The latest "natural" "herbal" weight loss pill? Did you know so little ketone can be extracted from fruits that natural ketones cost 20,000 per kilo, that puts it out of reach for most of us. The stuff they sell for weight loss is actually acetone (nailpolish remover) that has some hydrogenation process done to it that changes it to raspberry ketones. Kinda icky, no proof it works, except for what dr oz says! Eat right and exercise you know the drill!!!

Bariatric advantage vitamins are tuff for lots of people try other brands until you find one you can tolerate, I use source of life adult chewable and split the dose 1 am & 1pm- $25.00 for 45 days . Early after surgery I had some mild lactose intolerance so mixing isopure lo carb Dutch chocolate with water was a game changer. Also check out unjury chicken soup 20 g protein and is a nice savory ( salty ) change. Hope you feel better soon!
