  1. I don't think it's common knowledge, at least not here in Argentina. Anyway the doctor should've told her patient about it (if she previously told him about her fertility issues, obviously), it doesn't matter if it's common knowledge or not. If you want to read about the adipose regulation of hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis just google Leptine :tongue2: Saludos
  2. I've been banded for 2 years now. One of the best things i've done in my life. I got my band when i was 18 and it changed my life in so many ways, friends, confidence, sports, music, sex, family, mood, and it goes on and on.

    September Bandsters

Hello y'all, been gone for a while . Living life i guess, new GF, studying and having some non-LB related health issues. I've been doing quite good i'm at 178.5 lb right now, 8.5 under my original goal and people are starting to say i'm TOO skinny so i guess i should go for a little unfill or something. I have lots and lots of loose skin and here in South America it's spring, summer is coming and i'm kinda worried =(. Love you all! Take care! Keep up the good work!

    Goal! :')

It has been one of the best weeks of my life, everything is getting better and better each day. Today i woke up and the scale got to 187 and stoped there, i couldn't belive it i was just so happy i woke up my mom to give her a hugh. Getting lap band was the best decision i ever made, it changed my body and it improved me in so many ways i could never point each one out. Now it's time to keep being as healthy as i can, eating right, excercising and being happy with my new me . Thx to everybody in LBT for being such a great inspiration and to teach me so many things about this journey, things that i could never learn any other way. I don't really mind telling people about it, almost everybody knows and i'm really glad it's that way, i needed help and i got it just as simple as that... i don't have any reasons to be ashamed
