    Boobies

You can run with boobs guys. Just gotta have a really good bra. I played basketball and soccer in high school and had D's then.

    Coffee

I was never restricted from coffee. In fact, I was given it in the hospital during recovery. But I didn't drink sodas or anything but water really before surgery. And only one cup of coffee during the day. That's right after I leave the gym. Really don't understand why everyone had to stop. Coffee is actually good for you... That's what DR. OZ said.

    Boobies

Amen on the push up bras... I'm down about the same and have definitely noticed some deflation lol

    Boobies

Mine are DD and when I lose them I already have plans to buy them again. They are part of who I am... Husband is supportive of course lol

    Yoyo Game

When you're so close out from surgery it does become an addiction weighing yourself. My husband DID hide our scale. It's the best thing he could've done. I was up and down the same two pounds and was getting upset daily. Good luck
  6. Just a quick question. I eat 3 to 4 times a day. But I'm sure that all together I'm only getting between 350 and 450 calories. Only on full liquids and almost a month out. If I got more calories in, could I lose faster? Of course I hit the infamous stall and just moved weight again.
  7. You were a gorgeous bride. You look incredible today. Congratulations on the weight loss. You must've busted your booty these last 3 month. You deserve a nice dinn... Instead, spend the night a home and just enjoy each other :-)

    Pre-Op Diet

Good luck. It's easier than it sounds. Just remember you're doing it for a reason :-)
  9. I can/ am eating yogurt, sf jello, sf pudding, strained cream soups, broth, sf popsicles, creamed potatoes.. That's about it.. LOL. But each dr has their own plan. Like I am on full liquids for 4 weeks. Was on clear for a week. I have not seen anyone with this exact plan.

Can't Seem To Get Off My Butt An Workout

I started working out 3 months before surgery. Once I was dead set on doing the surgery, my biggest fear was excess skin. So I started hitting the gym 6 days a week for about an hour. Now post op I go 4 days a week. My time is limited as well due to working 5 days a week with a 1 year old. But I get up at 2:30 in the morning and work my booty off before work. So my motivation... No excess skin. LOL.

    Today Is The Day!

Congratulations honey. It will get better day by day. 20 oz is great for your first day. Just sip sip sip. Take it slow

    Extreme Fatigue & Weakness

Are you getting enough water? I know when I don't get mine in I feel the exact same way.
  13. I never wavered from the diet. I was too scared to do it. I know others have, I just couldn't. What if my liver didn't shrink enough? Or what if they could tell (lol). All you can do is start over. Stick to the protein shake and liquids... I know it sucks.
  14. As everyone before me has said, we all have this fear. Nothing else has worked, so why would this? But think about it like this. Even if you lose say 10 pounds a month, how many times can you say you lost 10 pounds a month consistently and know, as long as you are doing right, it will stay off? Never! You're going to go through some stalls. (I just got off of a almost week stall) But as long as you get your fluids in, eat right (which at the beginning is so easy. You can only eat a couple of bites), and exercise (Tone tone tone) it will come off. I know when getting this done you want it immediately. But give it time. From pre-op till now I am down 40 pounds... That's 5 weeks. Even on Atkins I wasn't anywhere near that. It's a tool, not an overnight success. You will do fine. Just listen to your Dr. and pounds will just start dropping off of you.

    Clear Liquid..

On my clear diet it was only stuff you can drink from a straw. See through broths, sf jello, crystal light, water and that's about it. Not even protein shakes. Now full liquid was with yogurt, sf pudding, cream soup, creamed potatoes, cream of wheat. Got a week and a half left of that... Been a long month lol

    Painful Scar

Thank you wheetsin and vsglass, I'm sure it's ok. I think I may have over did it at the gym today. Not lifting or pulling... Just jiggling a little too much lol. Wasn't thinking about that. 4.5 miles an hour on a treadmill for forty minutes may be the culprit lol.
  17. I have had the most perfect recovery after surgery. I can tolerate all liquids, every food I've been allowed to try, mild exercise, and have had no pain... Until today. Suddenly my large scar (the one the stomach was taken out of) is hurting from the inside. It's a stabbing pain and it's not all the time. The outside is fine. No redness nor heat. Any ideas or similar stories?

    Painful Scar

I'm just over 3 weeks post op. No leakage. Never did. This just came on at around noon today. Before I ate.

    Relationship Troubles

You are a very strong woman. Although it hurts now, both of you will realize this is better for the both of you. Take nothing he said personally. When people feel hurt, defence mode comes into play and things are said that are meant to cut you to the bone. You're heart told you what to do. Now take a breath, have a glass of wine, draw a bath, and feel everything.
  20. It is scary. It's surgery. But it's something you have to know you want. A week before we are all questioning our decision. Do I really want to give up food? Is this really the right decision? The answer is yes. I have dreamed about this for years. I finally jumped with eyes wide open. I can honestly say as they wheeled me back, I was as cool as a cucumber and it Was my husband who was crying as I consoled him. You'll do great, be fine, and all the other things you'll hear over and over till you wake up and you're fine. I'm almost 4 weeks out and not one problem. Think positive. No regrets :-D

Where Are My April 2012 Sleevers?

God... Anything chewable would be nice. Sleeved 4-18. Had one week of clear liquids, not even protein shakes, and am still on 4 week full liquids. To add to it, only down 17 pounds in the 3 weeks since surgery. But staying positive. When else would I have lost 17 pounds in 3 weeks and know for certain that will be the last time I see that number on the scale

    Relationship Troubles

I have been with my husband for 15 years. We were high school sweethearts. We've been married for 10 years. Can honestly say he does still turn me on. There's up and downs, and sometimes more than others, but yes. The open relationship that you mentioned would not work. People who this works for usually are overall happy with each other. I know this first hand. The people who try to do it to fix or cover problems, one person always gets hurt. Some people don't realize how important sex is. It's the number 2 reason for divorce. Money is not worth your happiness. So please don't use the trip to weigh out this very important matter.
