Hi All, I am going to do the 2-week pouch reset diet that is listed here. I am curious. I know when I have done this in the past, I have felt shaky and light-headed. The goal is to drink more water... and I do. Is there anything that I can add to the water to alleviate the shakiness? I feel like it is blood sugar low... but who knows. I feel like other plans (Ideal Protein??) give you something to add to the water to assist with the shakiness.... any ideas or suggestions that you have actually implemented??

Water -- Make it More Filling??

The pouch reset can be found here at Bariatric Pal at https://store.bariatricpal.com/pages/2-week-pouch-reset-diet. Realistically, It isn't just a juice fast. It starts that way, but you have to continue on with the water as food returns in a stepped way. The juice adds extra calories. Anyone have additional ideas? -
Can't access it

Do you ever feel shakey? I do periodically and I am pre-op. I am just concerned when I go back to work. Jamie

I am ore-op. I am trying to refine my protein shakes. I am using 1 cup milk, 1 scoop Pure Protein vanilla cream, 1 cup frozen strawberries. Blend for 30 secs as directions say. There is way too much air.... I need to make sure that it is not clumping but I hate the air. Any suggestions?

Hello All, I'm a preop patient in CT. I teach and schedule is definitely hectic. My dietitian told me that I would have to cut out the Dunkin Donuts coffee in the morning time. When I asked her if I could have coffee with fat free half and half, she said that would be OK. So my question... my little Keurig coffee pot in the classroom has saved me trips to the staff room where there are unhealthy things to eat. Unfortunately, I normally put in fat free Coffeemate into my coffee. Are there any equivalents to that fat free Coffeemate that is like fat free half and half? I don't have access to a refrigerator during the day. I have always got my 64 oz of Water every day, but I also like that second cup of coffee mid morning. I don't think that I can give it up -- especially giving up so many other things.... What are your thoughts? Jamie

I am from the Storrs area and just starting my journey. I went to the seminar at Hartford Hospital on April 18, 2012. I'm nervous and wondering if there are any 30-somethings out there who might want to chat from he area... Or even CT. Jamie
