On youtube you can find one called Yogalates with Rashmi. I've been doing her five week strengthening series. Each work out is only 20 minutes but its a good bit of exercise. You can double them up if you need more. She has others as well.

Robin, It may also depend on the doctor/facility you are using -- I was able to get approved by Aetna on the three month track, but only because I used the program at Emory. Elsewhere I would have had to do six months. The Emory Bariatric Center had the whole thing down like clockwork, so I just trusted their instructions on what it would take to get approved. If there is a place near you that is comparable to The Emory Bariatric Center, they may have the option of putting you through the three month program. Teri

Another option may be the Nuva Ring? It's a little ring you place in your vagina, once it's in there you don't feel it (in fact, even after years of using it, I still nervously check to make sure it's still there every once in a while). In the past it's been very gentle to my hormonal levels (though since I've been on the pre-op diet, I notice that I'm significantly more emotional during the week that I take it out). And it's not a pill that I have to swallow every day.

JamaicanGirl, I do think you were in the very first group session I attended. I'm glad to hear things have gone well with you. My mom also feels very cautious about it. At first she was excited for me and then she made the mistake of watching too many television shows about extreme weight loss and all the things people go through after weight loss surgery -- and of course it's television so they only show the most sensation stories. Hello JamaicanGirl, I was just wondering if you were up to sharing your experience thus far. I just completed my three month monitored diet with Emory and am waiting on approval from insurance. If everything goes well, I will be getting sleeved by Dr. Srinivasan as well. So far I've only met her once, but I felt like she was really responsive in listening to what my desires are. Teri
