Congratulations on getting started!! Due to my insurance I had a 6 month waiting period. I started November 18, and Friday April 20 is my last appointment. I have scheduled my surgery for May 17, as long as insurance permits. A friend of mine was a self pay and from her first appointment to her surgery date, was only a month.

Hello everyone! I have just found this site and am really excited to meet and talk with you all! My last appointment for my insurance requirements is April 20! I'm getting really excited and nervous! My surgery is scheduled for May 17, well as long as my insurance cooperates! So far they have! I have been over weight as long as I can remember. Ive struggled with fad diets and quick fixes to no avail. I've finally come to the conclusion that this is the right decision for me after years of pondering. I can't wait to meet new friends to help me along this journey. B
