I'm really happy and can't wait for the rest to fall off. Funny story that made me feel good. While I'm getting into the car waiting for a few ppl get in, my brother walks up to me and tells me that an old family friend who was sitting in the car behind my husband and I, asked him "who is that girl getting in the car with Mar(my husband)" when he tells her its me she couldn't believe it and the weight I lost....I was really happy! My surgery was 4/25/12 Thanks everyone, it does feel good. I'm 7 lbs away from being under 200 lbs, last time I was this weight I was in high school lol

Today I got my second fill I'm down 45 in total, 20 before surgery 25 since my surgery 4-25-12 [ATTACH]24359[/ATTACH]

I love that feeling most of my family and friends recognized it before me. I could only tell by the scale but just yesterday I finally realized when I compared two pics so I'm feeling a bit more motivated

In two weeks I'm going camping with my niece for her field trip, campsite is providing lunch and dinner which will be pizza and sandwiches none of which my dietitian wants me to eat. We'll be there for 3 days and 2night and I kno I'll need to eat but don't kno exactly what I should pack don't know if there will be refrigerators or microwaves there.

Sorry I lied they will have refrigerators but don't kno about microwaves.....maybe I can take some type of tuna salad or something idk I just don't want to mess up seeing as tho I don't have any restriction and due for my first fill on 6/4

I'm 5'5 228 right now and I wanna get down to 135-150. 150 is probably more realistic but I wanna be as far away from 200 lbs as possible

Weight dropping slow and steady, puree for 3 days then soft foods! So happy to finally eat! First fill is scheduled for 6/4, kinda happy its after my bday 6/1 although I won't go crazy eating but hope to enjoy myself

I called the surgeons office and spoke to the dietician. She told me during this liquid phase there is not enough fat intake she told me to put 1 serving size of Peanut Butter in my Protein Shake, or use 2% milk instead of skim or 1% and blend. Also she said I could puree or blend a healthy Soup. She also told me that each phase is to help learn to tolerate each texture of food so you don't get sick, vomit, and/or cause band slippage, if its healthy and u can tolerate u can have but still highly recommended to continue to follow the different phases your surgeon suggested. Oh and by the way those who are having problems with constipation, miralax, a powder you can put in Water or drink of choice will help you go and be back to normal, this is what the nurse suggested. Hope this will help someone

Well I lost 20 while on the 3 month supervised diet, then 10 on my pre-op diet then 8 after the surgery I'm still on the full liquid diet until next week. I did a lot of walking to help drop, I can't wait to do full body work outs, ready to lose more!

I was also banded the 25th and I really wish I was on mushies right now lol the liquid is driving me crazy! But u might wanna take smaller bites and chew meat longer. Also go for the toddler like baby foods which that has veggies meat n starches soft enough to get down

I have the realize band....I don't kno when I get a fill but I hope the hunger goes away and I'm ready to work out already lol

Next week I start my pureed hopefully it'll give me some satisfaction

I've lost 8 lbs since surgery! Which brings me to a total of 38 lbs....2 lbs away from 40....I lost 20 on the 3 month supervised diet and 10 on the pre-op diet! I'm currently 225 and ppl who don't kno I have the surgery are starting to tell the difference, I'm hyped.....my only problem is being hungry and the hunger pains come with a vengeance! I get full fast but I don't stay full on my liquid diet. In the middle of the night I wake up with horrible hunger pains. Is anyone else having this problem

I get hungry often the feeling of being full does not last. I am also on liquids and 7 days post op. My hunger pains literally wake me up in the middle of the night and its so painful especially when u add in the gas and incision pain, I sleep with a bottle of Water next to me and a ready shake or Jello in the fridge. I see my dr on the 7th.

I'll be so glad when I can do full body work outs but for now I'm content with just walking

Is it normal for your port spot to feel numb. I have no feeling on that side of my tummy. Has anyone had this issue?

I'm just hating the fact it itches and when I scratch and I can't feel it and it still itches lol
