I was going to get the band, but you have to go to get it filled or unfolded every month for a year, and I am in college So it would e a hassle so my surgeon said the sleeve would be better for me

Absolutely hate the taste of protein shakes. I think most of the ones I tried are smelly and I can't get them down. I start gagging. Does anyone know some clear protein choices or something that is tasty?

What should I get before me surgery to be ready and also what are some gadgets or utensils or little things that really come in handy?

I feel like its just not gonna happen for me. I got denied once and now I'm waiting to hear from the insurance for the appeal. It has been about 6 or 7 weeks. Im going crazy I just really need this

I'm am a 20 year old girl. I have been waiting to get this surgery for about a year now. I planed on having it in December or January while I was on school break but my insurance denied it. My surgeon put together a appeal for me, I have a lot of things wrong with me that would go away of I lost weight. I've been trying for years but I just can't lose it. So we put in the appeal right away and they are still deliberating. It has been so long and I feel like this is my only hope. I don't know what to do. Do you think they will approve it? My surgeon said she has never lost and appeal.

I got denied me because my high blood pressure and cholesterol we're under control, but they are only under control because of meds. I have a 40 BMI, high BP, high cholesterol, acid reflux and borderline diabetes, which are all comoribidities. So my surgeon doesn't know why they denied but she sent In an appeal about 6 weeks ago and hopefully I will hear soon. I have a government insurance and they are always picky but she said she has never lost an appeal.
