I have notice that at almost 4 month out on March 5th I can eat a little more when I'm in my time of the month. I'm not saying I can eat alot but I would like to know if any of the ladies go through this. I also feel cravings for chocolates I have lost 56 pounds to date I don't want to sabatage myself. any advice on what I should do during that time?

On Nov 5th, 2012 I decided to start my journey I've been doing great no mayor complaints I get full very very quick, and my blood work it's great all under control. I know we all say this after surgery but this was by far the best desicion i've made in my life I'm 62 pounds down and I think I'm doing great what do you guy think???

To be honest I have none ever since I had surgery I've done what I'm told and it has worked. The only thing was a really big stall after week 3 and all I did was add a little carbs and I was good.

I feel amazin my health is 100% and I could not be more happy

I'll start I went to my visit today and Doctor is really happy with my results I've lost 40 pounds from 283 to 243 in 8 weeks him and my NUT feel I'm right on track. the only issue I have is when I drink that Darn Iron Pill it feels likes its stuck on my right side my doctor says if I don't have this feeling while eating or after eating i should be fine and he change me to liquid iron. I haven't have any issues after surgery other that the occasional tightness in the mornings and gas this has been the best decision i've ever made so how are you guys????

Mine was on Nov 5th and I am also down 40 pounds and it wasn't up until I started eating carbs that I started losing weight steady. I told my NUT and doctor this and they told me the same as yours. We are doing great don't be frustrated just try to cut back a little on carbs I don't do more than 30gm a day and see if that works for you.

Oh okay it should'nt be that long now. hope all is well with you and everything goes smoothly at the beginning it takes getting use to but in no time you will see it's the best thing you ever did

It depends on your insurance for mine (BCBS) it was 6 month. after that the doctor saw me for the 2nd visit and two weeks later I was sleeved.

Not sure what to do im 6 weeks post-op and i feel like i was on my first week really difficult to eat it goes down with a discomfort any suggestions???

I was never put under either and here i am 32 pounds ligther. I ws sleeved on 11/05/12 and I got to the hospital, filled out paperwork, went to the back to get changes and to get my vitals done. met with doctors to confirm what we were doing that day they went over every little detail and answered all my questions. the I was hooked up to the IV and was taken to the OR. they told me to lay on the table the nurse grabed my hand and assured me she will be there taking care of me through out the whole thing and after that I was out. I woke up in the recovery room in a bit of pain and I was hooked up to the morphine after that I was heaven becuase I didn't feel pain I spend 2 days in the hospital alto of Iv's fluids, antiacids and pain killer as needed I walked I sipped (after the leak test of course) and of with me to my house all was well had no issues my expirience was great. I felt sore in the first 2 weeks but I've been feeling better every day after that.

When I use to do Atkins i would just eat the toppings and use the crust and dough as my plate LOL I don't see the harm in that you just have to be mindful and not add alot of topping that will give you a high fat content like sausage, bacon and if you do just do as my mothere does take some paper towels and pat the fat out of it LOL!!

I'm the same way but I gained 5 pounds. I was feeling weak and started normal foods already I went back down 5 and I have not lost a pound and on top of that is my time of the month so I'm not going down any time soon. but don't get discouraged our bodies need to adjust to all these changes once it kicks in we'll be fine. we just went through a mayor surgery our bodies are healing don't feel bad give your body time to heal and soon enough we will be shedding the pounds lol.

I was stalled at 3 weeks also was sleeved nov 5th but a little different from you guys I gained 4 1/2 pound in 4 days I was going crazy. I had my second doctor visit on Thursday and doctor and NUT assured me it's perfectly normal at this point and that it will start droping soon today is friday and I have los 2 1/2 pounds of what I gained so hang in there guys we can do this.

not sure what category to put this is in. But I just wanted to share this I took my Iron pill and as soon as I swallowed I felt it get stuck I've been drinking and drinking and it dosen't go down it's so uncomfortable. Hope none of you guys go through this.

thanx for the advice. My doctor gave me a RX the pill is not that big and since my surgery date 11/05/12 it never happened to me. but i'm going to cut it in half and try it that way I never want to feel that again.

Try to do soft food or a clear broth that what I had for lunch and finally after 3 hours it's over. hopefully it will never happen again.

I know what you mean. I didn't thow up but just the feeling of having the pill stuck made me sick to my stomach and very quizzyy I had chicken broth for lunch to see if it help it go down but nothing I feel it stuck in there and not going anywhere it's a horrible feeling.

After 6 month of waiting I finally got my date. I'm very exited and nervous at the same time I feel I have so much to do in so little time. to all the ones still doing the six month diet program keep going even though it feels far away it really is RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER
