Thanks guys!! I hope I can just be given antibiotics. I'm not running a fever, so hopefully it's not that bad yet.

I had my sleeve done on April 3rd!! I have done great:) the worst of it all I think were the gas pains after surgery(which I am still having). Does anyone no how much longer those last? Lol! I have just joined the sight. I'm excited to talk to everyone, ask questions that I might have. Also, hope to answer some!

CAn someone tell me how to make a protien shake or an example using whey protien??

Am 16 days post op & don't know how much protien I should be trying to get in At this point?? I am really struggling with this! Need help please!!

Giiiiiirllll!!! It was AWEFUL for me!!!! I hope you get to feeling better!! I will tell you though walk, walk & walk some more! That is gonna be the only thing to help you.

It is so hard! I'm trying to get all of mine from food & not shakes.. That is what my surgeon wanted me to do. Idk if I will ever make it to 60.

Today was my first post op visit. I am officially 14 days post op from my surgery. My dr told me today that I was doing really well, I had lost 14 lbs. But listen to this... He said I could go ahead & start trying some real food! He said to start trying different things & see what works for me. I thought you were supposed to wait until at least 4 wks? He also said I could lift what I wanted to! Idk. I was thinking you shouldn't lift no more than 10 lbs for the first 6 wks? He also said I could try some diet soda! I realize he is the dr & I'm the patient, but this is going against everything I have heard....

I just started my mushies today(besides the few mashed potatoes I tried last night). I had my first post op doctor appointment today. After I was done I went buy taco bell & got an order of pintos n cheese. I was able to eat the Whole order!!! Of course I ate half of it.. Stopped then ate the rest about 2 hrs later. Is that normal??

I know exactly what you mean!! The full feeling is nothing what I was expecting. I'm still figuring it out little by little.

Thanks guys!! I have definitely decided not to back on sodas. I can do without them. He has just got me really confused.
