    Complications With Sleeve

I am very nervous as well. I thought I was pretty set on getting the sleeve, but after talking to some of my friends about it, I seem to be way more nervous and anxious about the whole thing than I was before I spoke to them. I know they were coming from a good place and are concerned for me, but now I'm just a bit more freaked out than I was before. I am still going to get it done though, because they don't know all my health concerns if I don't get it done. Today I had my first appointment with a cardiologist to get clearance. He took an EKG and everything looked fine. He still thought that I should get a stress test done and a sonogram of my heart so that my insurance company will get off my back about it all. I would love to hear other people's stories and complaints!!
  5. This is so awesome!! Excess skin has been my one concern through all of this. I am gonna try to do all of your suggestions!! Thanks again!

  9. I've been thinking of having the sleeve surgery for a while and am going through all the steps to get clearance from other doctors. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the topic of excess skin. Does everyone get it no matter what you do? If you've had the sleeve surgery a while ago and have excess skin now, how much do you have? Are you thinking of getting it removed? If so, what is the criteria to getting it removed? I am very new at all of this so I apologize for my "newb-ness." Please help!
