When Did You Start To Really Notice?

It's difficult for me to see, or at least admit there is a difference. I'm about 3 months out and 53 lbs down and all of my clothes are too big and everyone else notices my weightloss and in pictures I can tell. I would say that at about 35 lbs down ppl really started to notice. -

Hey Joe! All is going really well! I hit my 50 lb loss this morning and I am very excited! I think I'm adjusting pretty well to the sleeved life how are things coming along with you? Any closer to having the surgery? Jess -
I'm sitting in the pre op section of the hospital hooked up to the iv and waiting for my time! Excited and nervous!! having some pre op jitters but I know I'm doing this for the right reasons! I can't believe this is real!

A Couple of years ago I bought this really cute bathing suit off season so it was pretty cheap but it was too tight. But since it was so cheap I had to buy it haha. Anyway, I'm going out of town to a friends house and she has a pool so just for giggles I tried the bathing suit on and it fit perfectly! It was even a little loose! Very exciting

Surgery went very well! I'm in the hospital going home today or tomorrow the pain is not that bad it just feels like I got a pretty good abdominal workout. Overall this was a textbook surgery no complications whatsoever! -
My surgery is tomorrow! I'm very excited but also very nervous! Any advice on calming my nerves or last minute advice before I go under the knife?

Calling All Bcbs Insured- Bariatric Certification/ Qualification

I have bcbs NC and I only had to have a bmi of 40 or 30 with one comorbidity, psych eval, and nutritionist visit some blood work and my doctor ordered an upper gi. I was aprroved in 2 days and they cover it 100%! -

May 4th here! In Charlotte NC -
Ma so excited to share tht today I was approved for the vertical sleeve!!! Overall this process was a lot quicker than expectednt only too me about 6 weeks, from seminar to approval, to get approval! My insurance is bcbsnc and I am thrilled that this process was as simple as it was its time for me to sit on the losers bench!

Yesterday I found out I was approved for the sleeve and today my date was set! On may 4th I will begin my WLS journey! I'm so excited! Do any of yall have any advice or words of wisdom as I begin this journey?

Thanks!!! , I have not talked with my surgeon yet, just the insurance but when my pre- surgical coordinator submitted the paper work they said it would be on the 20th of this month which I may Have to change to the 27th for work reasons ( insurance gives me 90 day window to reschedule is need be) but it's soon and that's all that matters!
