Pain got so bad today after lunch so I called my doc. Nurse said it was common to have this pain at 4 to 5 weeks. Sutures are stretching and when I eat my tummy expands so it pugged against them.

Hi guys Just wanted to put this question out there. Everytime I eat I get a dull pain in my right side back like near my waist. Anyone know what that may be? Or have you experienced anything like that? I am 1 month out. Thanks

1 Month Weight Loss Stall
anniew replied to anniew's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Update!! As of tuesday morning I lost another 2 pounds but I am now traveling for work and they don't have a scale at the hotel so I can't weight myself till Saturday morning. That's good cause I was weighting myself EVERYDAY. -
Hi everyone. I'm freaking out! Surgery was 4/4 and a month later I have lost a total of 21pounds since surgery and 30 since preop diet. But that's it! I have been stalled for about a week now loosing a pound over the past week. Not sure why this is happening I am not exceeding 600-700 calories a day and mostly proteins. Has anyone had this happen? Getting REALLY sad that I went through this for 30 pounds!

I Don't Regret The Sleeve Surgery, But....
anniew replied to Willow216's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
shakes can get a bit "old" so here are some combos I found pretty yummy. BANANAS FOSTER shake 1 scoop vanilla protien 8oz skim milk or soy milk 1/2 banana 1 tbs of sugar free caramel sauce 4 ice cubes chocolate RASBERRY SHAKE 1 scoop of chocolate protien 8oz skim milk or soy milk 2tbs sugar free Torani rasberry flavor 4 ice cubes CHOCOLATE Peanut Butter SHAKE 1 scoop of chocolate protien 8oz skim milk or soy milk 1tbs reduced fat peanut butter 1 packet of Splenda 4 ice cubes Be creative. Adding fruit and Torani sugar free flavors gives you endless possibilities. Good luck! -
I actually had my gall bladder out last year. That's why I'm confused.

I was sleeved on April 4th and has been dehydrated for 2 days till I finally called my sister and she came got the bottle of water and stated till I drank half of it. Them my daughter would remind me every 5 minutes to take a sip. The nausea, dizyness and headache went away and now I KNOW that I NEVER want to feel that way again. Sip sip sip

My surgery was April 4th I am now on soft foods. One thing I am struggling with Is my fluid intake. I can't seem to get more than 24 to 30 ounces and that's in flavored drinks and broth. I feel dry, I am urinating once or twice a day. Is this dangerous? Anyone else had this problem? What should I do?
-
To Mab it's so true that's exactly how I feel. I have to consciously DRINK something. I hope I snap out of this soon.

Thanks all I will try harder with the water. I'm also going to see my doc today. He wants to run labs to see if I am dehydrated. I'll post updates soon.

Week 2 Post Op, Should I Start Shopping?
anniew replied to anniew's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Played it safe today. Bought myself a get well present. A new MK purse and matching wallet. That oughta hold my shopping itch for a while. Guess I will have to shop in my own closet for a little while too. -
Today I had tuna, I didn't t know I LOVED tuna ths much! Had 2 3 oz cans lunch and dinner. Now I feel like I over did it. I am 12 days post op by the way.
-
I just discovered bumble bee sensations flavored tuna. Perfect size for our new lil tummies! Comes with 6 crackers although I did not eat those. At 110 calories and 18 grams of protien it makes a great lunch or dinner. Easy to pack and needs no refrigeration. Enjoy and don't forget to eat SLOW.
