Anybody been to Mexico to have lap band surgery kinda scared but considering doing it for 4599

I want to have lap band with bmi 31-32, high blood pressure, high cholesterol. Have anyone had problems after returning from out state lap band Will insurance cover problems from surgery in Mexico once you return to states How long is the recovery How much weight can you loose in a year Have friends had this done together I would like to go with someone whose having the same surgery.
