Last night I overate significantly. After a couple of hours of discomfort I vomited violently and it resulted in facial bruising. Lots of tiny purple spots around my eyes and on one side of my face down my neck! Anybody else ever have this happen?

I remember reading on here about a five day liquid diet or something like that people use when they have really fallen off the wagon. I need to shrink my stomach and start over. Can anyone give me info on this? Thnx.

My daughter and I were both banded 1/5/12. I have lost 60 , she has lost 25 and has had 7 unfills. Today she did a barium swallow and was fold she has a slow esophagus. It does not push food down in a timely manner. They think that has been her problem. Gave her a .2 fill and said to wait longer between bites. Nothing else to be done. Anybody ever hear of this?

Today I told my dr. My goal is 170. Started out at 240. Weighed 201 today. For my height 170 would still be in the overweight range, bmi of 25. But she said that is a very healthy goal. She said bmi doesn't always take everything into consideration like muscle mass. I have lost 5 bmi points already. Whoo hoo!

I am joining the January 2012 group. No recent posts but I hope u r out there?.. I was banded 1.5.12. I have lost 39 lbs. I still do not feel restriction. Next fill ( no. 5) is in 2 weeks. I have a 14 cc band. Not sure how much is in it. I try to follow all the rules, have messed up some! I would like to feel a little restriction b/c I can eat a lot!

I did a fill every two weeks for 6 weeks then once month . So 4 fills so far since my surgery 1.5.12. I still do not feel restriction. I have lost 39 lbs. Have now started to gain a couple of lbs. Back. My next fill isn't until 5.30.12. Wish it was sooner.
