What is the best lotion to reduce and prevent stretch marks and loose skin

Ooo yah I see it everyday in the hospital. Antibiotics will make you go and pain killers stop everything.

I haven't been banded yet but I'm meeting the surgeon next week. I wr really on the fence for years. But I'm 27 and a nurse and my back hates me everyday. I wake up in pain and go to sleep in pain. Another bid deciding factor is my future kids. I don't want to be 280 and gain 40 lbs pregnant and have gustational diabeties and put my kids at risk. I want to run and play with them even though they are not here yet. I think restarting foods is worth that

I want this advice too my insurance company only requires a letter from my doc but I don't know what my doc requires yet. I go for a group meet and greet with the surgeon next tues. I hope I don have to do a 6 month diet.

I have been married 2 years and the first 6months to a year was really rough and I dragged him to counseling where he reveled the only problem he has with our marriage is my weight. Shocker to me since I weighed less than we he met me and also when he married me. It put a big strang on our relationship. I feel like he doesn't desire me or he is going to leave me bc I'm fat. I'm not planning on the Lapband bc of him. I thought abou the lap band long before him. I told him during that counseling session that ie I'll never get over that comment because if I stay heavy I will know he hates it and if I become thin and he loves me more I will hate him for being so shallow. I want to do this for me but how do I get over that feeling. Have any of you lost alot of weight and your significant other desires you more and that offends you? Thanks for the advice

Thanks everyone. I am doing this for me. I thought he would be all excited that undecided to do this but when I told him it was something I was thinking about he told me not to do it! Just crazy. I am doing it for me but I'm also doing it for my future children. At 285lbs an working in the medical field my back is killing me and I have no energy. I'm doing this for my future children ago I can run and play and be a good mom. I just signed up for the seminar and decided last night to get off the fence and drive right in and made the choice to have the surgery. Had a terrible nights sleep and my back is killing me to that reaffirmed the choice.

Yah my insurance covers it. I can't imagine having to travel to Mexico to have it

O I'm planning to be very honest about having the Lapband if I do decide to get it but just wondering how everyone told thier friends and family? reactions? Was everyone supportive? Did you get a lot of blank looks? Thanks

Well I already have stretch marks so I'm screwed Mine are bc I had mini and lost 50 lbs in a month and then gained it all back and about 100 lbs more

My worst nightmare as I think about gettin the band

Hi everything. I just started looking into the Lapband and I'm so conflicted. I'm 280lbs 5'4 with back problems and don't sleep well. My doc wants me to do a sleep study and think about Lapband. I'm just looking for someone to tell me the truth and answer some questions. Thanks

I'm not talking about soon post surgery I'm talking about month down the line. After all the recovery.

Just called my insurance and they told me I would pretty much be approved. I just need a psych eval which I am going to be therapist tomorrow and talk to a surgeon and do my sleep study which I have next week and I could be approved within 30 days

Did anyone get banded before kids and have had kids since?

Well I guess I'm just trying to figure out if I can handle throwing up all the time like people say you do after banding. I've heard you can eat salad bc it gets stuck , you can drink even Water with meals and I drink alot while eating. Guess just figuring out if I can handle it and if all the negative is worth the outcome. I want to get healthy and nothing has worked in the past. I keep thinking about losing weight for my future kids and I think I can give up anything for that. But do I really want all the throwing up, loose skin, hair falling out, only eating a cup of food, getting put under etc
