Two weeks since surgery....I just puréed my last lunch....on to soft foods or supper! Getting a lot of questions about how I eat now compared to before. That'll be the video Friday. Plus I won't tell you how much I have lost so far....but it's more than 69 and less than 71!

Just finished cleaning out the fridge. If I had the money I wasted on food that goes out of date I'd probably stop getting that panicked feeling every time I use my debit card...lol. Part of my reintroduction to food is realizing that shopping without a meal plan is a waste of food and money.

Being the geek that I am I collect political movies and I just saw The Iron Lady (Easter gift from Ma!) and it was brilliant. Meryl Streep is now forgiven for Momma Mia.

In spite of the fact that I grew up with the ocean for a backyard I am not a guy who has ever really taken to seafood. In search of protein tonight I'm cooking haddock. Fingers crossed.

The downside of losing 60 pounds and 6 inches off your waist? Your co-workers call you droopy drawers. Doug had a good idea though....I don't need to buy smaller pants I just need to buy a skateboard!

It's been a week since surgery and that means it's time buy me some new sneakers and get outside. 15 minutes starting today. 30 by the end of the month. Then, in 5 or 6 weeks....actual workouts. Oh dear god what have I done!

Congrats to my old friends and roommates Bruce Thompson and Crystal Rose-Thompson on the birth of their son! The little guy has no idea how lucky he is to be yours. (side note....I'm now the last of our high school clique to not have a kid.....I'm looking at you Phil LeDrew and Vanessa Purcell. I assume I've earned some kind of prize?)

At the risk of a flood of advice from my dear friend Nikki I am happy to report I am the proud owner of a juicer and it's kind of great.

Back in The Bay and slightly exhausted. Thanks a million to John and Danielle for taking care of me all week. Love you guys!
