M 1 month and three days Post-op, I'm freaking out cause I've been on this stall for a really long time, I usually don't get too worked up but it's been like this for the longest. What can I do to get out of it, I honestly like feel like I should starve my self or something despite the fact that I'm hardly eating anything to begin with! I haven't started exercising, but should I? Will it help?! Ugh sooo frustrating..

Have my date set for April 20th. I'm wondering if anyone else does so we can both go through it together conversing throughout.I'm also going alone..im paying out of pocket and we can't afford to bring my mom out with me so...yeah..a little worried...

@jafter Surgery is being done in Cali, with my moms dr who did her lapband. That across the country as I live in NYC :/ I will keep you in my prayers also! Thanks do much I stay away from the tv. Too many food temptations. I stay away from my bf also! He loves fast food :/ (don't worry after the surgery he said he'd eat junk food quietly behind my back, hidden) thank god! @fannyf I've had like ten meltdowns believe me this has been a hectic ride. I am so ready even tho I'll be going alone. My mom can't take off of work my bf has class, plus I need him to stay so he can teach me what I missed in a few of my lectures. My best friend is doing her residency rotations :/ I'm out of luck but I'm NOT waiting any longer to get this done.

Im a little worried, I'm in school and I can't take two weeks off. I can hardly take a week off so I'm doing a week including a weekend. I'm very diligent when it comes to school and although they give me a drs note.. I lose alot of lectures and such. My labs aren't too bad but I def need my lectures especially for Bio 28 so Im forcing myself to go school literally a few days after surgery. I don't want to wait till summer. And although I'm on spring break right now. My dr had no available dates! I'm sure I'll be okay right? I mean is it extremely painful?

Oh gee thanks! That settles alot! I just see alot of people taking three weeks off and such. My bf takes alot of the same classes so he will help alot..i hope everything goes well.

So I'm 21 and 240 pounds. And I should have my surgery at the end of this month. I wanted to have it early but between school an my bf I had to make it late in the month and not during spring break. But im nervous and excited I havent been small since my sophomore year in highschool..so six years. But I'm excited and everyone's pretty supportive. My moms had lap band before and it cured her diabetes and high blood pressure and such and so they want to nip the problems I may get get in the butt before they come. Anyways I'm always looking for people to chat with for support and making new friends and talk about the experience all together so please feel free to message me and stuff!
