M No..I didn't eat many though because I knew I shouldn't be...I rarely have them..I was on the road yesterday and just could not consume anymore PB.

My dr recommended that I take an acid reducer with the NSAID, but I still find it too harsh with my stomach...gives me major heart burn. I will be looking to see if I can get the injectable NSAID at my next PCP visit.

So I am at Target and its pouring rain...check the iPhone to see when and if its going to stop...no such luck..so I take off running..I am in my car in about 10 seconds and guess what...I am not out of breath...that wouldn't have happened 7 months ago..thank you sleeve and couch to 5 k app!..btw I forgot to mention..I was parked by the cart return..two cart returns down from the store..nice little trot..he heheh.

Do you foresake me sleeve???? I stupidly tried sesame sticks..deliciously devilish fattening sticks of crack whorish goodness....why can't you make me vomit and be painful to eat???!!!! Why must you be a slider food ??!!!! I am going to need rehab for this!

What made this more successful for me than anything was that I craved sweets and everyday I had to get something sweet in me or I was mean.....seriously a grouch. Whatever hormone my stomach was producing that made me crave it must have been in high quantities, because once it was gone, the part of my brain that signaled its time for candy turned off immediately. I can still have some, but I stop after one fun size pack if that. Sweets don't interest me anymore, fruits and veggies do. My advice is to exercise...it's doesn't have to be nutty crazy...I do yoga 5-7 days a week and I am trying the couch to 5k app, but I had hurt my hip so that is on the back burner until I can see my doctor. Follow your diet because it allows you to heal. There is a reason we have to take the steps we do for the advancement of diet to allow for proper healing. And no matter what, don't beat yourself up, its ok...we all mess up. When all else fails, doubt sets in, and you feel doom and dread, come here....post...ask questions..rant and rave...cry....someone is here that understands and will listen...and sometimes judge....but isn't that just like being in a family? You have a network of people who need you: 1) because they are just starting their journey and want took know how you got to where you are, 2) because there are people here who are walking the path with you, maybe even had surgery on the same day you did, and they are in your shoes and understand, may even have the same issues and can help you and themselves through it , and 3) lastly, there are people like me...months out who can remember that not so long ago, I was there and it gets better everyday and here's how I handled a certain situation, and there are people here years out that offer wisdom and sage advice to keep up the good fight and never, ever give up because this time it will work. Good luck...we're all here to lend a hand if you need one! I always got one when I asked for one.

And it doesn't hurt that my healthy hubby and daughter really don't like it...so I cook a lot from home...I loved loved their cracklin' cornbread...now I can't/won't eat it.I have to say though...how do you resist Corky's BBQ!!! We used to have that here, but it closed! And lucky you...you have a Whole Foods I have to travel 1 1/2 hours to get there!

I am not graceful enough to wear high heels....although I wish I could...I am 6 foot in heels.

Honestly..it probably won't be..I just want see if I can remotely look decent in a pair...lol.I had a pair that went with garter belts ect when I was 20.... looked decent then...but was uncomfortable ...now that I am older and more crotchety ...I would buy a cheap pair...wash them just because I don't trust people...them try them on and never wear them again....

Yeah..we are April sleevers! I had mine April 3rd at Vanderbilt. So far I have lost 108# but my BMi was 54 to start..it's 39 now... Doing very well so far..how about you?

I like my weight watchers scale that calculates. Your BMI...but I have to say..it was not a steal of a deal..that eat smart scale sounds better

Since you know you vomit, I would highly suggest you ask for a scopolamine patch. You tell the anesthesiologist this. He will order it and put it on your before they put you to sleep. They put it behind your ear and it can be left there for 3 days. It's worth a try. It worked for me during my hysterectomy and I always vomit with anesthesia. Now..with the sleeve I had to have a scopolamine patch and have Zofran and phenergan administered alternatively every 2 hours after surgery. But I would definitely ask or a scopolamine patch.
