So I want to add to the theory ..could it be that the 40 year old 1) does want a man with more stamina ..that was already mentioned..but I also think 2) its because the 40 year old woman who is divorced is tired of putting up with the bs of the older men, so of course..go with a younger man....and have your "fun time" ..and now that the 40 year old woman is done having her fun with him for the evening ...he can go home!!!! Get out of my house! Just a thought!

I get asked that a lot as well, and I take it as a compliment too. I also get asked quite a few questions about the type of surgery I had. I never lie about the fact I had surgery, and I have found people around me looking into it because of my progress. The only person who is asking me if I eating enough is my mother, but that's because she is my mom and loves me and wants me to be healthy.

Give you a sour after taste about 1 hour after taking it. I like them, but I have noticed this. I have tried the petite calcium citrate tablets but 6 tablets a day was a lot to me and I reflux the tabs badly. Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this...or is it just weirdo me??!! Oh and I am currently taking Baritric Advantage Calcium Chews ..anybody else have a different recommendation? Brand? Ect? Thanks in advance!

Specialk1960 I tried the chewable sweet tart things too..and immediately threw up...I encourage you to try the calcium chews..they are like starburst or soft taffy squares, sugar free, & tasty. For me..I get a bitter after taste about 1 hour after eating them..I could be refluxing as well..but it doesn't feel like I am..oh well..I am weird I guess!

Try not to be afraid! It always helps me when I get nervous about a situation to right down the pros and cons. If the pros outweigh the cons, then I know I am making the correct decision so usually that calms me down. If your pain isn't managed let your physician know! My scars aren't big at all. I am 4 months out and the incision where they removed my stomach is maybe a 1 1/2 inches long..not large at all and it's the largest of the 5 scars I have..it isn't bad and you can always use Maderma (sp?) once you have healed. My daughter had 5 stitches in her face next to her lip and we used Maderma(sp?) religiously..can't see the scar now unless you know where to look! You can get it at Walmart or Target or just about anywhere!

Well, I ordered mine after trying a sample at my RD's office. The supplements I buy are the Bariatric Advantage Chewable calcium citrate Vitamins with Vit D. I chew 6 chewables a day..which is like eating something to me rather than swallowing a log of a tablet. They come in chocolate(I like this), caramel (it tastes pretty good), lemon (my personal favorite..tastes like a tart starburst chew) and raspberry (these I wouldn't feed to the dog..they should go back to the drawing board on that one!). I order them from Bariatric Advantage's website. They come in 120, 90, & 60 counts. They will also send you samples as well. Best of all, the chews are sugar free!!! HOWEVER...their Protein shakes, in my humble opinion, are nasty, grotesque, and down right shameful ( yes ..that's how I really feel about them..lol) so if you decided to try their shakes...buy a bottle or two, not the bag to try them out first. Hope this helped! I guess it's just weirdo me tasting the "after taste". It's not bad enough yet to make me stop using them...

So ..I had posted recently that I was able to wear my wedding band and engagement ring again. Well I also had a mother's ring I couldn't wear my hubby designed and commissioned a man named David to make for me. This ring is very special to me because 1) my hubby loving designed the infinity design and had all of our birthstones placed within the infinity symbol, and 2) David was dying with colon cancer and this was one of the last rings he commissioned to make. When I got it to my surprise, my birth stone was not the right one, but David had a turn for the worse and I didn't have the heart to take it back..David passed a couple of days later. So for a long time ..I was sadden because one it would honor my husband and family to wear it and it would honor David since it was one of the last pieces his hands made, nut my jands had become too large to cpmfortably amd safely wear. To my great surprise, my ring fits on my right middle finger now instead of my right ring finger! I will not have it resized. I plan on wearing it and reminiscing about how this beautiful gesture came to be. I will just keep on switching fingers until I run out! Then..I may wear it around my neck! I am glad I loved myself enough to get my sleeve. My life is much better for it!

Just curious...since losing weight..how many people have told you that you look younger? Three different people told me today that I look younger(don't get me wrong ..that was awesome!)
