Remember just when you get disgusted, measure your inches lost. I always check out my inches lost when the scale isn't moving. It's a huge motivator! And I will say it again, because I need to hear it too: we didn't get this way over night, it takes time to get it off...patience grasshopper ..it will come.

My doctor recommended Miralax. It's a stool softener that is in powdered form. You can dissolve it in any liquid, even Water. It doesn't taste to me at all. It just dissolves into the liquid, and you wouldn't know it was there unless I told you I put it there. The only draw back is that if you put it into an already cold liquid, you have to stir the liquid longer to make the powder go into solution, but other than that it's pretty good stuff! I like notime's idea of daily Fiber therapy after you get your constipation problem fixed, but remember with fiber therapy you must, MUST increase your fluids if you aren't drinking the recommended oz. of fluids daily or you will make your constipation worse.

I like Simple facial products. I use the wash, toner, and moisturizer. For the body, Curel does the trick for me.

I can't find them at my local Sams Club..only Premier shakes. I wish I could find them there..could by them in bulk. I can't stand Premier shakes.

Don't be discouraged by stalls. Remember you could be losing inches! I always measure my hips, arms, waist, and neck on the 3rd of every month to see how many inches I have lost. That way if I become discouraged at the number on the scale ..I go and look at the inches I am losing! Makes a huge difference on my outlook! And remember, you didn't gain the weight overnight. It just takes time to get it off. Patience grasshopper....it will come...

Mine was 5 days from submission date. I have Cigna Open Access. I did complete 8 months pre-op requirements prior to my submission date. Didn't take long at all, and I requested my surgery date be 1 month out when I heard I was approved to give my work a chance to get the schedule rearranged for my absence.

Here a picture of the packaging..this one is chocolate fudge. I keep them in vanilla, chocolate fudge & strawberry at my work place for Breakfast and mid afternoon Snacks to get my Protein intake up Hope this helped!

Congrats! That is wonderful! Strawberry flavor is one of my favorite..tastes good, goes down easy! You can find EAS Carb ADVANedge at Walmart , Target, some Walgreens, and Kroger or..maybe even your location grocery store

You aren't the first to have a water park fail..I had an amusement park fail..stood in line for 30 minutes to ride a ride only to not fit in the seat with my child crying, and having to step out and watch in front of 100 people watching and waiting to get on the ride. This was before I was approved for the procedure. However, my reaction was more of acceptance. That just made me realize that I was doing the right thing for me and my family. I haven't been back to that park.. Probably won't ever go back.. But I now know if I choose to.. I could get on that ride now. But I think you are right not to risk your life again! Beside .. In a year you may feel differently, and prove that you can ride safely!

Yes Patrick .. I see a difference! If you can.. Try to take measurements around your body monthly. That is how I knew I was decreasing because my numbers started dropping significantly ..not pounds..inches..several at a time. I have a large behind..I couldn't even get a tape measure around my hips..I was feeling pretty low, and imagine my surprise when I measured one month and the tape measure had some slack..now..it's got real slack in it..remember ..you didn't get this way overnight..it's going to take time..BUT it will be worth it in the end!

So I am with my family at our favorite Mexican restaurant. I always now get 1 shredded chicken soft taco with grilled onions, peppers, and tomatoes..sans the cheese and lettuce. Only eat 1/4 of the tortilla and all of the meat and vegetables..way less than I used too and way more healthier..anyway..I digress... One of the gentlemen we see there often came over and said "Hola Skinny..I need to go do what you did..and rubs his belly". I turned around looking to see who he was talking to and he said " Yes ..I am talking to you!!" OMGoodness...skinny used in the same sentence as me? Shut up...don't get me wrong..I am nowhere near my goal..I have a lot more to go..but wow..it's working. I love my sleeve!

Wow tabby! That's amazing! I wish I could do makeup ..but I am color illiterate! I don't do it well..and when I try my best to look good. My skin looks smooth and looks as if I have nothing on..are you in NY? I'll have to stop by your shop and get a makeover if I ever get up north again!
