I've had some soft serve. Like someone mentioned above, i could only eat about 2 tablespoons and I was done -with the craving gone. I was worried that I would crave it daily after I let myself indulge but that has not been the case at all!

They sell them at both places. I hope you like them. I'm really happy with them!

I don't know about Costco. I picked up a case (of 12) for around 18 or 19 dollars) at SAMs. I see online you can get a case of 18 for around 27 bucks.

It's NOT so bad, is it MamaT? I went to a steak house with my hubby, sis and bro-in-law. They had amazing looking ribs and steak and I had soup. And while it all looked and smelled awesome, I was just happy to be able to eat out, order something off the menu, leave full/content and just enjoy the night! :-D -
Trouble Sleeping

Is there a specific reason that you know of keeping you from sleeping? Like incision pain when you turn over, or are you still taking pain meds? Or do you just "wake up" and can't get back to sleep? I had trouble because pre surgery I was a tummy sleeper and it took quite a while before I could flip over and sleep comfortably. I've seen a lot of people post about needing a light sleep aid... -

I teach long hours so I can't join a fitness club until June. I went there last summer and loved it. Now I can't wait, even more, since I'll be working out with so much weight lost already!!

Had to break down and buy a new bra, couple of new shirts and capris. Also had to have additional holes punched into my Birkenstock sandals so I can tighten them! OH BOY!

Sudden Vitamin Problems

Same for me. But the recommended dose on the gummy bottle is 2 per day and I take them 3 times per day. This still puts me under the levels I would have gotten if I stayed with the surgeon recommended "Celebrate" Vitamins. So I've gone out to supplement with B6 & 12 and Biotin. (already take a separate calcium too), -

My pre-op was like Benjammin's. Low Carb/High Protein (for 14 days). I did seriously start missing breads (PIZZA was hard to bypass!!), but I wanted the surgery more than life itself and was so very afraid they would start the surgery, say my liver was too big, close me up and send me home. I've read about people that have had their surgery cancelled for one reason or another and my heart goes out to them. Good Luck!! -

I teach High School - My surgery was on a Tuesday so I had the rest of that week and the following week off. I wasn't in any pain when I went back, but that first week I was CRAZY fatigued. The only 5 days of this school year that I left "on time." I went home and slept every day that week and still slept good at night. (I'm NOT an afternoon napper so my husband was pretty sure I was dying that week). -

Another 3 bites the dust. I've lost 11 out of the 15 pounds for my Memorial Day goal!

I'm thinking you have not done any irrepairable damage. I'm 5 almost 6 weeks post surgery and one time, absentmindedly, started drinking out of a straw. The pain caused by extra air did go away before too long.
