Is it sad that I look forward to old hippy girls responses on here?? I'm sorry but the stuff that she eats is not part of this program. We signed up for this to lose weight. Not keep our old habits. I see her posting that she eats pizza, wings, corn, chocolate eggs today?? Why even bother having the surgery? I know it's not my life or my body that is being hurt here, but just some caution to others on here, eating those thing post op is not ok. I've lost 58lbs since December following my doctor and nuts orders and no where on the paperwork is 90% of the things she post that she eats... And how have you not experienced any dumping? Ok. Sorry I had to rant after reading her post tonight. *steps off his soap box* Sent from my iPhone SD - 1/28/13 -

Anyone else in love with them? Low sugar. Low carbs. And 21g of Protein. The cookie dough and apple pie ones put me in such a happy place! Sent from my iPhone SD - 1/28/13

So. I'm about 6 weeks post op and I find that I'm eating a lot more then I was. Like I used to only be able to eat 1/2 a Protein bar, now I can eat the whole thing. Is this normal so soon? I'm also feeling hunger? I thought that nerve was cut off? Sent from my iPhone SD - 1/28/13

Maybe I'm not drinking enough. I drink like 6-8 glasses a day. Sent from my iPhone SD - 1/28/13

I actually just had those on my 15 minute break at work today. They taste really good however they make you want to drink some liquid and you can't. Sent from my iPhone SD - 1/28/13

You're not reading them right. They only have 6 actual carbs because of all the Fiber. Plus no sugar used or sugar alcohol. Sent from my iPhone SD - 1/28/13

They make a reduced sugar ketchup. My boy friend just made a chicken meatloaf with it. So good. Also you can sub salsa and it works really good. Sent from my iPhone SD - 1/28/13 -

Best snack/meal ever. 2 cups plain Greek yogurt. 1 package of cheesecake sugar free pudding. Mix together. Make 4 1/2 cup servings. Top with 1/2 tbs of gram cracker crumbs Sent from my iPhone SD - 1/28/13

You want non-fat plain Greek yogurt. Remember. Look at the serving size. The one I have is 8oz (a cup) and you are dividing it into (4oz) 1/2 cup portions, so you are only getting 1/2 the amount of sugar that's in a serving. Sent from my iPhone SD - 1/28/13

I'm about 3 weeks post op and my breath smells like a dog pooped in my mouth... Anyone else experiencing this? What are you doing to help it?

I use dessert protein. I get it on amazon for about $20 a canister. They taste so good. -
Hello everyone! I'm in the process of starting my weight loss surgery. I have got insurance qualifications met, attending my eating healthy for life class, and have my psychology approval. I haven't met the doctor yet as this is a scheduled program through one of our local hospitals. Im getting really nervous as it comes closer and closer to the time of getting to the point of meeting the doctor and scheduling my surgery. I have heard both good and bad things about banding surgery and just don't want to be one of those horror stories and wished I went a different route. Maybe some of you guys can help me relax more and get your feedback on the surgery.

Wow. Those are some awesome results. That's what I'm hoping for. :-)
