Seeing Changes And Loving It
rodswife replied to rodswife's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Thank you so much. -
I eat all day long. At least 6 times a day. We eat so little that every 2 to 3 hours I'm taking a bite of some kind of protein or veggie. During the week, it seems I eat way less than the weekends though.

Stopped Losing, Help!
rodswife replied to dzsunshine2901's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You're not doing anything wrong. You aren't going to lose weight every single day. Your body has to catch up. You will go through numerous stalls. You will have times where you lose inches instead of pounds. It's normal. But, you will not see that scale drop daily. Of that, I am positive. You have to burn 3500 calories to lose a pound. Just hang in there and don't worry. It will come off. Slower is better anyway because you have less skin sagging and perhaps less hair loss. -
Meat Meat Meat

I get tired of meat too but when I want a quick snack with protein, I eat beef jerky. One ounce has 15g protein. -
I'm 218lbs this morning. I started at 250 on 4/2/12. I'm so happy.

The Nastiest Stuff I Have Ever Put In My Mouth
rodswife replied to Candyman's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I never had a leak test like that. Before they stitched me up and pulled the little camera out, my surgeon but my stomach under water and did his leak test that way. -

Upset Right Now. 1 Week Post-Op
rodswife replied to Nola_Loser's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Inhale exhale inhale exhale. Hugs. It will be ok. It does get easier as time goes on. That I can promise you. You just gotta keep telling yourself that in a few months, you are really going to see dramatic results and it will all be worth the temporary torture. Trust me, don't attempt to eat. You risk tearing your staple line and that could be fatal. I know you know this. Keep doing what you are doing and take pictures of yourself because the first time you see a difference in even your face, you are going to be happy you went through that torture. -
