Hey flourgirl, I had surgery in Mexico and the dr there gave me a 6 month supply of a medication that was only 20mg and I had MAJOR reflux with it. I was recently hospitalized and there they gave me protonics through an IV--that's what the dr prescribed me when I left and it's 40 mg. I don't have reflux whatsoever now that I take this once a day. Ask your doctor for protonics or generic for protonics. Hope it helps!! S
