Hi kk, I am scheduled the week after you... July 3rd. I am trying to cut out the carbs, too, but it is much harder than soda! I have cut out most of that for the last month or so. The headaches were awful for about a week. I need some encouragement and tips for the carbs!!! Good luck - hopefully it will be here before we know it! BTW, who is your surgeon?

Hi Medictazman, For me, my insurance does not cover the procedure, so the only option is self pay. For a short plane ride and significantly less money than anywhere in the US, I can get the procedure done by an experienced surgeon. That was the only choice for me!

Meeeeee either. But one last "fat pic" will have to be taken for me so I can see the difference! Especially if/when the stalls hit. And I agree... no one will see it but me 'til I am a skinny minnie!

Hi Smoggy, I know. The only thing keeping me sane is the fact that I have been so busy at work. I have cut out 98% of the sodas I was drinking - yay! - I was addicted to that stuff. Other than that, I have been trying to get out and walk for about 30 minutes a few times a week. Also wanting to cut back on carbs - addicted to those, too - but that sure has been hard. I will get more serious about it as it gets closer so my body won't be in as much shock when the time comes. Lastly, I have been on a Vitamin regimen for a couple of months. I guess I am most concerned with the hair loss, so I started Biotin along with my multi vitamin every day. I will begin taking the recommended zinc, Iron, and Calcium soon, as well. Keep in touch! Hopefully July will be here before we know it!!!!
