Ok So Maybe Its A Pcos Thing?
Flyingsaucer replied to Flyingsaucer's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I was thinking that it was starvation mode. But it doesn't make sense that when I'm only on liquids I lose weight then. At this point I'm just willing to stay on liquids till all the weight is off. It's gotten to the point of frustration. I admit, I miss food. But this surgery put my husband and I in a financial bind for a month or two and to see myself just hang on to the weight is frustrating. Ugh. -

1. I'm 3 months out exactly. 2. I would eat some sort of chicken lunch/breakfast with the hubby. Then get some Jerky to snack on while at work. Then have dinner/breakfast at a fast food where I would only eat 2 bites of a Breakfast taco. (we work over***ht) and that's it. 3. I was off liquids for about a month and a half all together. -
I Can't seem to lose weight unless I'm on the liquid diet. It's frustrating!!! I'm 3 months post op. I'm 287 from 346. Yes. I'm proud of the weight loss, but that all only happened while I was on a liquid diet. 10 of that came from the monthly diet. Then 20 of that came off on the pre op diet. At my week after surgery I weighed 311. I stayed at that till 2 weeks ago when I went back on the liquid diet. Lost 20 and now I'm rethinking going back on the liquid diet. I miss food so much. And I really have a feeling it has something to do with this stupid pcos. Ugh.

Just my regular physician. I do plan on making a trip to the gyn soon. Hopefully in the next week or so. see what they say. I have pcos so I'm not used to periods. Especially like this.

Hey girls! I've been having a problem and really needed to see if it's just me or if it has happened to some of y'all. This is a bit tmi so heads up! the passed 3 times I've had sex I've been bleeding a ton afterwards. I've been to the doctor and he's not so worried about it because I have no pain. It's as if I'm having a really heavy period for about 10 minutes, enough to fill up an overnight pad, and then bam! It's done bleeding till the next time we have sex. No new positions no new anything. Doctor told me if it continues to go do an ultrasound but how long does it have to continue till I go do the ultrasound? Ugh

Have never felt so ugly in my life. Has anyone had any discrimination against them because they are big? I'm so sick of it. Recently I started a new job. So I've been going on Craigslist to find some new friends and such. So l be having a great conversation and the dreaded photo part of the convo comes up. I and my photo and just like that, people stop talking to me. Look. I know I'm not a looker. But I managed to snag a husband at the ripe age of 18 so I know I can't be completely disgusting looking. Ugh I'm so sick and tired of not having friends. I'm also sick and tired of putting myself out there whenever I just keep getting hurt by these ignorant fools.

Actually I've been on solids for 2 weeks now. So this whole eating and bam full thing is not what has been going on. That's why I'm worried. I have an appt to see my surgeon. Or well his assistant, to see if I have any leaks and I will ask her about it.

I'm about 6 weeks post op. the past month I've been able to eat a little more than I thought i'd be able to and just the other day all of a sudden I'm getting full off a single bite. Is this common or should I worry?

Post Op Mood Swings
Flyingsaucer replied to mamacorney's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My moods have also been on the rocks. Today was the worst. Actually just got done yelling at the hubby. He actually text me telling me that it's all the surgeries fault and I'm going through mood swings which caused me to b***h him out even more. Sorry for the faul language but to say I yelled was not enough. Lol I've also realized that I've been getting annoyed real easily lately and it's not fair to the people around me so I have secluded myself for the most part. Which causes me to go insane anyways. I just can't win. Lol but I just wanted to say I know what you're going through and it most def has to be all the hormones being released back into the bodies. stay positive. Everything will turn out for the best! -

You can def start walking as soon as your out of surgery. If you plan on just making walking your main workout you can do that ASAP. Put the other things will take a couple of weeks. -
