I can't believe it's only 2 weeks away now! They really didn't tell me much about the liquid diet because my dietician kept pushing their own products on me so it's nice to hear what others are eating for their diet. I didn't buy their things because it was expensive. I'll just drink water if it's going to be that expensive. Lol. But I'm excited to go do some grocery shopping. Buying things other than meat. Lol.

I am soooo excited! I finally got my surgery date and I'm just do anxious to get to after surgery. Now starts the liquid diet and I think that's going to be hard but I'm tough. I can do this!

I start my liquid diet tomorrow and I have no idea what I'm allowed to eat and not eat! My dietician didn't help at all. He just took me to the store they have inside the doctors office and showed me some boxes but really didn't tell me what I was and wasn't allowed to eat. Can someone tell me some stuff?

Today was my last dietician's appointment. I asked him at the end of the appointment if I needed anything else done (I've been looking through the forum and everyone mentions some sort of clearance) and he said no. That they are sending my paperwork in today for approval. Well I'm excited about that but I'm worried if there's no actual clearance to make sure that doing surgery on me will be safe. Maybe they require it after I get approved? IDK. Help? lol

Who all should I be having appointments with? Other than the dietician?

So in one week is my 3rd appointment with the dietician. I'm assuming that withing like 2 months after that I can start getting surgery. Anyways. I'm wondering what y'alls input is on this. My mom is going to Romania to visit family and such. She invited me to go and I'm kind of wondering if after surgery if I can manage a 12 hour flight and such. Just wondering what y'all think about traveling. If all things work out, then it could possibly be like a month to a month and a half out of surgery. Any advice?

I'm pretty excited about all of the things going on in my life right now. How everything seems to get getting better and better for me. I wanted to see how long was your process from your first consult with the doctor to your surgery date. I'm super excited about my process and want to see about how long it will take me.

I have Aetna. They changed their policy from last year. Last year I needed a psych eval and this year I don't. I already had my second appointment with a dietician and I already have 2 years of documented obesity. Everyone has to go through the blood work right? And what about the sleep test? They never mentioned anything to me about any of that stuff. They only told me about a four month diet and two year obesity thing. I must call my caseworker tomorrow to find out what else I need done.

I just had my second dietician appointment. I have like 2 more and then whatever else I need done. I'm a bit excited about surgery but I want to know from where all do you lose weight and inches? I know it's a stupid question but does your ring size get smaller? What about your shoe size? And where does it all go? Is it like the alli pill where you (sorry tmi) crap it all out or is it different?
