Hi yes most doctors just place them and dont fill them, at the beginning u have restriction from being swollen..that will go away and u will be hungry and ready to eat up a house lol, thats when the will power will have to kick in before u start getting fills and restriction, its like u dont have the band, I was banded June 18 2012..down 80 pounnds so far im loving myself I wouldnt change it for the world..just be patient make sure to get all your fills follow the rules and u will loss..take care hope this helps.

Hi everyone I was banded June 18 2012 total lost so far is 62 pounds...so far so good but here lately 2 weeks are so I have been feeling sick...headache, sick to the stomach feeling like I need to throw up but I dont and bleching alot I feel terrible... i am able to keep my food down wondering could it be acid reflex or something...anyone else feel this way before and think it could be band related??

Yes i was the same way im 5 months out and still get pain sometimes where my port is but not terrible pain...anyway it gets better with time, hang in there!!

I lost 14 pounds pre op and 12 pounds first month after surgery, i have 5.5 in my 10 cc band really close to green zone!

I sure hope it stops my hair is also very thin woke up this morning and noticed a small bald spot where my hair has fallen out freaked me out hope this doesnt continue or i will be bald i will be 5 months post op Nov 18th, for me i just started to notice it coming out

Hi im not to happy this month i only lost 4 pounds, it just makes me do better next month i agree i have cheated a little so its my fault, all and all im still happy about my weight loss so far so banded June 18 2012 Start weight 287 Surgery day weight 272 First month 260 Second month 255 Third month 246 Forth month 239 Fifth month 235 Total lost so far 52 pounds Since surgery 37 pounds... Coming off slow buts it coming off!!
