Anyone having issues losing more after revision to sleeve? I gained while waiting for the surgery and haven't had much success losing since. I lost 90 lbs with the band but gained 25 lbs in between surgeries. Now the weight is being stubborn and doesn't want to go away. I do about 45 mins cardio each day.

Timing Your Meals
2bHotGirl replied to TheNewSusie's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I cut my food small like if you were feeding a 2 year old. Also a WW trick is to put your fork down between bites. This gives you time to cheese swallow and then pick up and cut the next bite. It gives your stomach time to tell your brain that it is full. -
I have head hunger all the time. Sometimes I'm like WTH, why do I want that?....lol

Anyone go from band to Sleeve having trouble loosing? I lost 91 lbs, with my band. I had a peanut butter incident which forced me to have my all my saline taken out in December. My doc then talked to me about the sleeve. So I was sleeved March 28th. Between December and March I gained almost 30 lbs, I went a little crazy figuring I was gonna be unable to eat for some time. (I know, don't judge me, I regret it now, but I can't change the past.) Anyway, now my weight will not come off. I'm not eating nearly as much, I began working out the last three weeks, I'm eating much healthier foods but my scale just will not move. I keep thinking my body is in shock from all the crazy eating and the nothing much. Also because I only have 50 lbs to lose so now it is just not falling off as easy as the first 80 did. I'm just lost and was wondering if anyone else went from band to sleeve that had already lost a significant amount of weigh was having any issues.

Why Doesn't Anyone Say Anything?

I always wondered the same thing. I was given the sack of potatoes analogy. If you have a big sack of potatoes and take three away do you really notice a difference? But if you have five potatoes and take three away it is much more noticeable. If course we notice, but others might not be so sure. This really helped put things in prospective for me. People are uncomfortable asking about weight. It is a big psychological issue, as we all know since we have gone through that trauma. -
I had all of my saline taken out in mid December. I gained 30lbs before my sleeve on March 28th. The head hunger is what killed me and still is. Its like I eat cause I can vs because I'm actually hungry. Food is my addiction. Ugh....

I feel like I am failing and succumbing to head hunger. I'm not really hungry but I keep wanting to graze and snack on everything. How are you dealing with head hunger? Just the want to eat, not the need.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm thinking it is girl issues this week that are driving these mindless cravings. I'm hoping it goes away. -
It all goes well. *stupid auto correct...lol

I said that it was girl stuff. That I was having a cyst removed. Men don't want to know and women just say Oh ok, I hope all fies well.

3 Weeks Post Ope And Stalled For 2 Weeks Now! :(

I am also in the same place as you. I was a lapband to VS revision. I went from 250 to 160 in three years. During the wait I gained 30lbs and now I'm waiting for the weightloss to start. I'm currently at 181and not budging. With the lap band I would go through monthes of no movement. I did a bunch of research and it is the starvation mode and the bodies set point. Don't stress over it, it will happen when your body is ready. Look up these things, maybe it will make you feel better as it did for me. Good luck. -

Don Get It Confused, Im A Drinker! Not An Alcoholic!
2bHotGirl replied to JimmyGotSLEEVED's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Well I'm a party girl that went from the band to sleeve. After the band it took me a while to build my tolerance back up. Not sure how this is gonna work.withbthe sleeve. I'm only two weeks out right now and going out and watching others drink is a little hard but I'm trying to be safe. I am a big beer drinker which I know is not good for the diet but I counter it with my food inatke. I know carbonation will.not be good for a really long time if at all. I stick to Ciroc Redberry on the rocks. A nice slow sipper. -

I was the same way but was not feeling backed up. I had some hot wonton soup and I was ok. Your body is adjusting so your bowels are going to be different and far apart because you are not intaking lots of solids.
