I'm now 2 days away from my surgery and I am so nervous . I can't stop thinking about it!

I had by band removed back in 2012 I'm wondering how much scar tissue they will have when they start mine and if it is going to cause an issue.

I have been bariatric surgery once before with the band and yes some people do have pain. But everyone is different. I'll be honest the gas you feel afterwards is the worst. But believe when I say after all is said and done and your pass the first month with the post op foods and you look in the mirror it is all worth it. .. Man I Should take my own advice. . I'm still so nervous myself.

I am also having mine on the 13th . I have those same feelings. One minute I know I want to do this and I need to do this bit I can't help but having second thoughts. I have heard a lot of peple say this normal but man this roller coaster really sucks. Not to mention not feeling the greatest because of the pre op diet. That's all keep in touch this week.

How long did your surgery take? How long do you need to stay in hospital?

You just need to take it slow .. Did you already have the surgery.

I hoping to do the samething with getting the house in order. I hang absolutely no energy through because of the pro op diet. I feel so drained. I'm hoping to have my husband do my shopping for the post op foods after surgery. He worked in a supermarket. So I'm lucky in that way.

I find that I'm not hungry.. I have to force myself to eat. It's very odd. I can't wait for next week to have more choices.. 2 weeks of unjury is ???? That is good for you, that your not hungry. My head has been hurting for 2 days since I'm eating so little. I'm just so nervous / scared that I'm not making the right decision.

I seem more nervous now, I hap my pre-surgery testing done today and tomorrow is my clearance from my primary. I feel so overwhelmed I want to cry. Today was my first day of my diet and I feel so light headed. I know that's from not really eating much. I just wish it was over already.

Mine is also the 13th I start my pre op diet this Wednesday. How are you holding up? That's great you lost 12 lbs I must admit that it's not easy. I try not to be around my family when they eat. I'll grab a popsicle and go in another room. A friend at work does it with me, I believe it's easier when I'm away from home or keeping myself busy. What about you?I agree with that. When your work it's much easier, I don't think about food, sometimes I even forget to have lunch because I'm so busy.. let's keep in touch.

Yep me too, it's so hard, but I know there's a better side of this. I've been there. I had the lap band for 2 yrs and lots 100+ and felt great. Long story , but I gained all back and now I'm having the sleeve surgery on the the 13th. I think it was easier s when I didn't know what to expect. LolShould have said I gad the band removed after 2 years

I take Adderall and it's a extended release and it's a capsule with little balls. Years ago when I has my old surgery lab band which was removed I opened it up and put it in apple sauce, I hope I will be able to do this or just take it whole.

When do you start your pre op diet? I'm January 13th also. I'm so nervous. I start my pro op this Wednesday, just had my final weigh in with my surgeon today . Now I'm getting really nervous.
