    I've Failed.

Sorry to hear you are feeling this way. I am only three weeks post op so I am not exactly in your shoes. I have a very good support system around me. My co-workers and family have been very supportive. HOWEVER...some people are not as supportive and are expecting me to fail with this surgery...this is my motivation. I want to prove to the naysayers that I will not fail. So that is what I do to motivate myself to to stay on track and committed to weight loss. Good luck!

To Stretch Or Not To Stretch...

Um sorry about the video if you cant see it...I was hoping it would just be a link...
  3. @ginajet77 - I am exactly 3 weeks post op and I can say that I have had days where I feel hungry but it is head hunger due to bad habits that I need to fix. Hopefully you will switch to soft food soon (I was on softs at 8 days) and that should help. Right now the liquid is just running right through you (though a little slower due to a swollen sleeve) so you don't get the full sensation as much. Good luck with everything!

My Job Is So Freaking Nosey

The only concern your work should have is when you can return to work at regular capacity. The details are absolutely protected by HIPPA. I chose to be open about my sleeve and a couple of people seemed shocked that I actually disclosed this information. Good luck with everything!

    Back To Work

@baseballmom02 - I had my sleeve on a Monday and when I was released on Wednesday I almost felt like I could have returned to work (in a light duty capacity since I am a police officer). I definitely could have gone back on the Friday after my surgery. Everyone is different though...hope you have a speedy recovery and good luck!

    Not Losing Weight

Hey...first time poster. I was sleeved on 3/26 at 446 pounds and on my first check up on 4/4 i was 425 for a total of 21 pounds in ten days. My PCP seemed every impressed with amount of weight loss in that short of time. I was however told that the weight loss will slow down when I start on soft foods which makes sense. I am on day two of soft foods and I counted my calories today and I have consumed 1300 for the day. I think is about double of what what I was consuming when I was on liquids. So I expect to stall at this point or at least slow down. Good Luck!
