:-) yeah I have no idea what's realistic... I've always been small I weighed 135lbs before my kids four years ago but I'm 270 now :-/ I'm also frustrated bc it's only a few days after my surgery but I'm so swollen I can't wear any of my clothes :-(

So I'm only a couples days out from my surgery and was thinking of setting my realistic Weight goal... What are y'alls goals and how much should I aim for realistically?

:-) I had my surgery on the 29 so not to far from u!!!!! Although since I also had a mass taken from my stomach I believe I'll be in a bit more pain!!!! Hey at least I found someone close to the date I had mine we can work together!!!

Hello everyone!!! My name is Tiffany and I'm from Richmond va and I also have two beautiful boys!!! I went into surgery on the 27 thinking I was getting the sleeve but once I was awake they told me they couldn't because I had a mass on the part of the stomach that was needed so they removed it... So with the sleeve out of the question I chose the bypass.... I got my bypass done on the 30 but I still have pains as far as getting out of bed and getting up from a chair! Is this normal??? I was also wondering if anyone was from around my area????? I was 280 not sure how much I am now bc I am swollen.... But my goal weight is 140-150......

I will be having the bypass tomorrow kinda nervous but glad the lump wasn't cancerous the reason I can't do the sleeve is it was located on the part of the stomach needed for the sleeve and my dr said he didn't feel comfortable at all continuing bc of the possible outcomes so that's why we chose the bypass I'm glad he found the growth when he did so maybe this is the way it was meant to be for me

Was scheduled to get the sleeve yesterday but they found a lump on my stomach so they removed it.... Now I can't do the sleeve but they say they can do the bypass... Any thoughts??? I'm so nervous

My name is Tiffany I am 24 years old... I have two little boys one is three and one is nine months....I have been overweight since I had my kids... I also had weight issues in middle school but lost alot of weight going into high school..... but now I have tried the diets and exercising but nothing is working!!!.... I am about 289 pounds.... and I do not want to keep gaining.... I want to be around for my kids and I want to have a good life!! I know if I keep the weight I wont be able to do everything I'd like because I am always tired.... I just went to a meeting or information session and I loved everything but then individuals I know are telling me alot of the people they know who have gotten this surgery later on are having mental issues.... or arent as fast or developed as they were... I do not know how to really explain what I mean....I know most of the other side effects and I'm willing to accept the risk of those in order to have a longer more healthy life... but I don't want to be slower or anything.... How does everyone like their sleeve? I'm sorry if I offend anyone... I'm just trying to find out what I am in for???
