I am glad I didnt have to do one cuz prob would have cheated but I made a deal with G~d, I told him if he made it easy and uneveventful for me, Id see it thru and do it the Docs way cuz my own wasnt working. He did, no preop anything and an exam of my liver showed normal size. Iys been easy breezy beautiful all thw way. Of course the next 30 will be a struggle as well as keeping it off but 55.5 pounds later and Im pretty happy.

Have not dropped a single bead in 13 weeks. I was not a big sweater preop just on exertion. I dont sweat even when doing my walks and Im pretty much cold all the time.

So my scale is a little off, went to doc and its 55 and a half!! Whoo hoo! I go back in 3 mos so its doable.

A month but thats just me.

I went down 2 number sizes and from dd to d so far, i dont wanna lose anymore from there. Whats really pissed me is at 40 dd they werent very saggy at all just a little now they are more down south. A lift is def in order at goal.

I also heard the receptionist at my Dr`s office say someone had to be smoke free for 6 mos before he would consider them as a candidate. Thats just my doc. If I can quit pills and be clean 7.5 yrs people could quit smoking. Just saying.

Yes you are adults and its a choice. I choose to keep living and will be alive a long time and some smokers wont be. Life is short enough why shorten it further? Not directed at anyone except people who stand close to establishments and smoke getting it into my freshly washed hair.

Im still doing the protein shake in the morn cuz I love them. I could never have lost 50 pounds by myself. If I never lost amother pound Id be happy. I would like to lose 30~40 pounds more but I look good now and feel great about myself that if it doesnt happen, Im ok with it.

Jan 30 49 lbs, I cant break to an even 50 grrrr, its been about 4 days.

My bmi went from 40 and no co morb to 32.9 and weight from 247 to 198. Im one pound from a total of 50 and its making me nuts but the scale inches down every 3~4 days.

I dont understand how people hate water but then again I dont understand how people drink soda. Mix it up and add flavors.

Fellow Md er too, just hit Onederland yest for a total loss of 48 lbs. Doin great. Feeling good, looking great, so many copliments. Feeling uneasy with the attention cause its been so long. Tons of attention from husband of 19 yrs. He always showered me with attention but its different.

Ive tried tons of protein shakes and most taste like butt. Even the Premier didnt taste good. I have known myself for a long time so I knew if I didnt like it, I wouldnt drink it. I found one I love, its Special K strawberry. Its got sugar, carbs and not much protein but, its helped me loose 48 pounds. I dont think everything is tried and true for every person. They taste just like Strawberry milk. I try to get my protein and water in as much as I can but somedays I dont. I can still only consume 1/4 cup at a time and I dont snack. My one indulgeance is low fat yogurt bars made by popscicle brand. Ive been steadily loosing. Cheers

I have Aetna the Fed govt one and they didnt have a lot of requirements for me. Just 3 mos dr supervised diet which was so lax I wasnt on a diet and my weight kept creeping up.

I think people dont know what to say and err on the side of caution to say Oh you dont need that surgery. I mean what are they gonna say? Its about time? Lol I wish I had a buck pre op for every person who said that to me. People are generally uncomfortable talking about weight unless they are in the same boat.

Having my first . Since being sleeved on Jan 30, its a killer OMG. Anyone else have it bad the first time post op?

I think its normal, My last one was 2 wks pre surg and then nothing and then today Im off to the races and its killer. It will come back, be prepared. Surg jan 30

I noticed recently that my pee is a little stinky. Could this be another sign of not enough water? Peeuuu. Sorry if its TMI. Anyone else have this?

It will pass. I was like that too. Now Iam 9 wks post and want to eat everything. The scale is inching along. I only have 4 lbs to go to Onederland.
