Any one regret having surgery or not get the results they wanted?
mgj5us replied to beachblondeee's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had my sleeve surgery in August 2010 and my only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. After I had my surgery there were a lot of people who followed my lead and my advice to all of them is follow your doctor's instructions. The ones I know who didn't suffered. I followed my doctor's directions to the t and I had no problems what so ever. I've lost a total of 110 pounds and loving the new me! There are plenty of plateaus that you have to get through so don't get discouraged! -
You are I are alot alike. I started my journey at 264 lbs and I'm currently 158. I wear mostly size 8 and some 6's. I'm still trying to lose 8 more pounds. That would be my personal victory. I've plateau and I go up 3 lbs then back down. I feel fabulous but I want to make it to my personal goal. Great job!

Two weeks post-op enjoying hamburger
mgj5us replied to Big_Mike's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I was sleeved on August 23, 2010 and I just started pureed foods today and will be on pureed foods for 2 weeks. For you to eat 1/2 of hamburger seems like it would be too much too soon. We are still healing. Good Luck. -
Hello All, I been reading everyone's blog but I've never posted. Anyhoo, I'm waiting on a surgery date from my dr but while I wait some of my friends are concerned due to experience with others that my personality will change after I have the surgery and loss my weight. Has anyone expeirienced personality changes. I am stoked and I think it can only get better as now the outside will match my inside. Thanks in advance for the posts.:thumbup1:
