Coops I'm impressed that you have a handle on things. Well done. Sorry about work and I hope something suitable comes up soon. Hubby dropped a bombshell on Thursday night. I got home from work and he was here and it seems that him and his company have parted ways. It was mutual and he isn't too upset about it but it does mean that he is unemployed. It was a stressful job though and with the travelling added it was having a toil on him. The American big boss was over for the funeral of the MD Kevin stood in for, they couldn't agree on a couple of things so they decided to part ways. I'm in shock a bit cos I thought this might be a job he would be in til he retires, he will be 59 this year and jobs are hard to come by at that age. I NEED to get back on 5:2 so please everyone give me a kick up the backside. -
Protein.com, you can buy samples about 99p so you can try before you buy a larger one. I used to use whey protein isolate. Don't pay extra for fast delivery cos delivery is fast anyway.

Kim stats are not dissimilar, up 33lb but still 60lb down. I'm only 5' 3" so the lbs really show. My downfall is wine and I'm drinking my calories, in addition when we have wine the crisps come out then the chocolate and it is a disaster calorie wise. Like many in the UK we are having a 'dry' January and quite honestly it is only the 8th of the month and I'm finding it hard! Off to London tonight for the weekend. It my present to hubby for Christmas and we are going to see the show Kinky Boots tomorrow. Coops I don't know if it is a myth or truth but can't ovaries shrivel/shrink during menopause? Perhaps this is what has happened. Glad you are getting on with 5:2 and feel in control. -

There is a UK site called my protein.com. You can order samples (about 99p) so you can decide what flavour(s) you like before ordering a big bag. I use whey isolate, though don't have many shakes now. -

Happy New Year everyone ????????My main resolution is to be kind to myself. I'm not good at that as I tend to dwell on the things I didn't do/achieve and then beat myself up. Not this year I aim to be positive in all achievements no matter how small and to give thanks. -

Florinda hope you get sorted soon, sounds like you are in a lot of pain both physically and emotionally. Sheryl glad the removal went well and that you are healing. Do you have to wait a certain amount of time before they put a new implant in? Don't do too much physical work that might annoy your wound. Back to work Monday after a 2 week break. The first week I caught up with some chores at home then had a beautiful weekend at the coast ( in Wales - I did shout Hi Coops as I passed by). This week I have devoted to my mum and clearing a couple of more rooms. 1 skip, a lot of paint and some new carpets the 2 bedrooms are now clean and tidy. My mum now lives alone as my brother (49) has found love, got engaged and moved in with her. I'm so pleased for him and she is a nice lady and is good for him. This brother has had a bit of a rough life he is number 6 in the family and was born 2 months after my dad died. He has had a difficult relationship with mum ( bonding might of not happened cos she was in grief). He was a naughty boy in his teens and got in trouble and came to the attention of the authorities. Much to mums shame. Anyway long term unemployed in early 20s but when eldest brother was ill he became his carer so mum was able to have him home and he cared for him until he had to go into a home where more intense care could be given. Anyway brother passed and then miraculously no 6 got his first proper job. He was been in continuous employment ever since. Continued to live at home cos it was easy but relationship with mum didn't improve. Anyway quite mundane existence til he met his soulmate about 6 months ago... Nice ending for him. I did however make him move his 49 years of detritus out of the house this week so I could clean the room!! Hope everyone is well, Autumn here and the leaves are beautiful. Just off to see James Bond film with hubby - not my cup of tea but he came to see suffragettes with me last week so I have go and see one he wants to see.
