No Cosmetic Bliss with Dr Cierny the surgeon. Cosmetic Bliss went out of business about 2 yrs ago unfortunately. I don't know anything about beautiful beings but would be interested to know who the people you dealt with are called to see if there is any connection. I have no issues with cosmetic bliss they handled my surgery well and I had no problems post op.

It's Mothers Day today in the UK (Mothering Sunday is official name and it falls on the 4th Sunday in Lent). I told both boys not to come home as I will see them soon for the Cheltenham festival. Well they defied me one turned up last night unannounced and the other was sat at the table when we went to the restaurant today. It was a lovely surprise and I feel very loved today. -
Is the newsletter available on iPad app? I don't seem to be able to locate it.

Sheryl sounds like you are having a bad time {HUGS}. I've never had anything like that but we have a student with kidney stones at the moment and he seems to be in a lot of pain. I've heard that the treatment to break up the stones, so that they can pass naturally, is very effective. I hope you can get that soon. Keep us posted. -

Georgia and Coops hope you are both on the mend. Weigh in this morning and it is 3lb down - so happy. So a total of 6lb for the month. I'm keeping meals real simple, NO wine, upped Water and it is working. Just like they told us it would if we stick to the rules. Another trip north today to see mum and tomorrow I take her to first appointment at memory clinic. She thinks we are trying to put her in a home when the opposite is true, we want her to stay in her house but we need help to do that. To get the help we need some sort of diagnosis hence the memory clinic. Hope everyone is fine and you single ladies please hold off asking anyone to marry you today!! -

Not a good week this week, 1lb regain. I did not want to post that but I do realise I have to be accountable to myself and ignoring any gain does not do me any good. I know why it happened so scale downward this week. I'm back at work so it will be easier. Nice pics Coops, obvious you enjoyed yourself from all those lovely smiles. Back to reality today? How's the job hunting going? Your weight loss since new year is an inspiration Georgia. -
The 5 day pouch is a reset program for WLS veterans. People tend to use it if they feel stuck, have put on weight or don't feel in control of their food input. Basically it gets you back to knowing what 'full' feels like.

Wow Sheryl, this is much more detail and I can see how the situation might be getting you down, especially as your concern with this part of your journey was with the implants. I don't think you even mentioned the thigh until you was in Mexico. Hope everything settles down soon and you can get out and about and enjoys every day things. Coops is on the plane homeward bound I think and it looks like she has had a good time (from the photos) no doubt she will be back on the forum next week telling us all about it. Sat in a cafe in a mall while hubby is off site having lunch with colleagues he has not seen in 30 years. I was invited but they are all male so I declined. Then off up north again to see mum. Today is a hard day for her, me too, it is the anniversary of my Dads passing and today it is 50 years. I was just a child and I still think about him every day. Happy Weekend everyone. -

Managed another 2lb this week so am glad. My goal for this week is to increase exercise, it has fallen by the wayside a bit recently. So I will aim for 2 sessions and if I can manage 3 that will be a bonus. So pleased to see people returning to 'our' section of the forum. -

Georgia, so good to hear from you. 14lb is awesome. I've given up alcohol for lent so am hoping the absence will diminish the snacks and chocolate that usually accompany it. Here's hoping. -

Good fast yesterday (525), weight down slightly but decided only to do count up once a week (Monday.) Enjoy your time in Florida Coops - there is talk of cold blasts and snow here at the weekend! Week off work next week (half term) which is nice, plans to go see my mum. -

It's good if your levels aren't up isn't it? Well after a try on 5:2 last week I'm down 2lb, not an enormous amount but still down. The fast days were fine it's the weekend (wine and snacks!). One of my fast days will be Wed this week as it is Ash Wed and a natural fast day for me (I'm RC). Hubby has suggested no alcohol for lent and I think I agree with him. It is certainly our weak spot. Kim where are you? Out travelling on that bike of yours. Check in and make us jealous of your trips. -

Sheryl, take it easy don't try to overdo things. Fasting today - just got home fro 10 HR shift made a strong coffee and picked up 2 biscuits and before I realised I had eaten them! I have put them into MFP together with the soup I had for lunch and if I change my dinner to Greek yoghurt and fruit I can make it. -

Did it! Nearly perfect but not quite, came in at 595 and I will take that. It's amazing that today I felt more in control. I actually exercised and wrote everything down on MFP. Off to bed now cos I worked a late tonight. -

its whatever I have in the fridge. Today I had onions, celery, carrots, parsnips I added garlic powder, Chinese 5 spice chilli and I added a tin of tomatoes with chilli to thicken 90g of lentils. I use 1 cup as a measure and on MFP it came out at 150 calls per portion. I had a portion tonight and it was good. 6 portions have gone in freezer with 1 portion out for dinner tomorrow. -
