I have had a reply from Alex and he confirms that our group is still private, even on the new app. -

Back much better but have not restarted exercise yet! Need to restart 5:2 and even more need you ladies encouragement. It has been very quiet here but I have been pleased to have seen some members who have not been around for a while. The new app I feel is quite poor and the whole site is quite quiet. I more often use my ipad than my laptop as that is my new set up but as this 'secret forum ' just shows up on participated I'm not too sure how secret it is is. Glad to hear from Sheila, I thought it was work that was keeping her away. OK ladies let's have a big push on 5:2 between now and Christmas, I certainly need it. We need to log in more often to keep ourselves accountable. I really need you guys to get myself on the straight and narrow. -
It is the new one I have downloaded! That was the one that wouldn't recognise my old password and so I had to get a new one.

It did not accept my password so got a new one, want to change it back to original but cannot find where to do it. (Using ipad)

Florinda, you seem happy to be back which is good. OK so bring me up to date and explain where you are. Are you in a place you want to be, with a job too? I don't know the geography of the states at all so are you near your mum? ( do you want to be near your mum?) I know Jack is not on the horizon anymore so are you OK with this. So many Qs - sorry. I want to make sure I am up to date. I really just want to know that you are OK in the situation you are in. I care. XX My clothes are tight !! -
Unexpected pregnancy before 18 months..

There is a forum specifically for pregnancy and the sleeve. You will find lots of Answers there I think. I'm using an ipad so don't know how to put a link in. -
Feeling discoraged july sleever

Calculate weight lost as a % the weight you want to lose and if you must compare use this value. The person who has lost 40+ lbs may have a lot more to lose than you do. -

I don't believe it, got up early to do my exercise just got to the end of the warm up and my back went 'pop'. It has happened before (but not for a long time) but it is a bummer. I'm back to work Monday after just having 6 weeks of for our summer break, they will think I am having a laugh when I tell them I might have to have restrictive duties for a couple of weeks. I was just trying to get healthier and fitter. -

Realistic Weight Loss & Energy

What exercise are you doing, especially with a hernia repair too. My surgeon did not recommend the gym for at least a month. All I did was gentle walking to begin with and then built up over time. Take care of yourself. -
Hardest thing i have ever done !

Stay strong, it does get better. Be kind to yourself and try not to stress. I would not worry too much about calories at the moment, concentrate on fluid and protein. -
Try using my fitness pal to log EVERYTHING that passes your lips, seeing it written down might help you make good choices. Good luck and if your under a lot of personal pressures be kind to yourself. Remember each day is a new day and what has past cannot be changed but today and tomorrow can be got under control.

Coops of course you are allowed to be a proud mummy here! Tell her many congratulations. Now you can enjoy the rest of your break because before too long it will be over. When do you go back? I return on 1 Sept. -

Well done Coops, that is not much of a gain from a holiday and I will presume that you did partake of much wine and delicious food - well apart from rest that is what holidays are for! I really like our new upbeat attitude towards your goal and weight loss in general, its very healthy. To anyone having relationship problems I cannot offer any advice but I do hope and pray that you get them resolved. Anyone heard from Sheila? I know she had a lot on with a new job, puppy and kitten but I just wondered how she was getting on as she was very supportive of everyone on here and I thought she might need a little support now. I might PM her. I cant get my head around food at the moment as the house is in such chaos (excuse!), however I have picked up my exercise a bit and at the moment I am into kettlebell exercises. I am following a video made especially for women and Im just doing the express routine (30min) at the moment as that is what they recommend for anyone new. I'm enjoying it which is a bonus because exercise does not come naturally to me, I have to force myself to do it but must admit that I do feel better afterwards. Scales are still up but Im hoping that with the exercise it will start to come down which in turn should encourage me with the eating. Here's hoping. -

Kim, good for you for keeping it under control, if I was in your situation Im sure I would be more than 1 1/2lb above my buffer limit. I'm impressed that you are still having a fast day. Are you finding peace by going through your mums things or is it stirring up other emotions? My weight is on the up at the moment and I keep on telling myself I'm going to get it under control and I need to. Off to London to see the show War Horse and the Poppies in the moat of Tower of London. -

Don't look at lbs lost but at % of weight you want/need to lose, if you need to compare this is a fairer way to do it.

Coops all the villas we have had there have WiFi (you might have to pay) but it is much slower than UK. Also there are plenty of Cafes with it so you can have a good excuse to pop out for a coffee. Enjoy your holiday, have a good rest, read lots of trashy books and spend quality time with the family.
