I use the cappuccino one in the morning, mix a full scoop with water and a few cubes of ice, I think it's yummy!!!

I know this sounds like a stupid question but I had read about the miso soup so I went to buy some but all I find are packets that gave noodles in them, do you buy that or us there something else? I tried making my own broth but it didn't look to great so it's in the freezer!

I thought we have to have protein shakes and 1 meal a day for at least 3 weeks and then the last week clear liquids.

Hi All, I'm hoping that ill have surgery on 9th October, anybody else?? I am going alone so would love to meet up with others that are going at the same time. I'm ready to be part of the losers bench :-) I'm going to have my US immigration interview on Thursday so hopefully I will be a citizen and have my passport by then. I have paid my deposit so I pray things work out!!

I am flying to San Diego from north carolina.

I am scheduled on the 9th so I'll see you there, I'm really starting to get scared the closer I get, I know it's such a life change, I just hope I'm doing the right thing!

Yay I'll be there too!!!! I'm going alone so I'm hoping to find a buddy, I arrive on the 8th and my appointment is on the 9th! I'm super excited but very nervous as well!

You can also just get a passport card, it cost me $30 for a new one instead of the $110 for a passport book, it's only good for land and sea but a huge savings if you don't plan on flying internationally soon.

I plan in having surgery 10/09, soooo excited!!! I work about 5 minutes from Freedom, would love to go walking! There is a support group in Charlotte also perhaps you could get a group together !

I'm so happy to see people that will be going to Dr Garcia early October, I've booked for 10/09/12! I'm so excited but nervous at the same time, Im not nervous about going but how I'm going to learn to change, I've done the same thing for so many years it scares me to change. I'm ready for a new journey just have to learn how to adapt! I have started a pre pre diet of shakes and 1 meal a day, I have a cheat day 1 day a week but will start the pre op diet 09/01/12, is that enough time? I'm going alone so meeting people on here going at the same time is awesome!!!!!!

So after months and months of reading post I finally think I'm going to have surgery with Dr Garcia at the end of September!!! Yay!!! I'm am going alone, do you think it will be ok? How does the pre op diet work and will they send me that information once I've paid my deposit? Has anyone been through alighter me? I'm so friggin excited, I just can't wait!!!

I have BCBS of Alabama but I hope to go to Mexico in October :-)
