This is what I love to have...
Protein shake or SF oatmeal or 3/4 C Total Cereal or 3/4 C Protein Plus Special K Cereal w/ 1/2 C FF Milk
Mid Morning snack
banana or FF Yogurt
Protein Shake or sandwich meat or FF Refried Beans...I make them here at home. The canned is not as good.
Or Mashed Sweet Potatoes.
Afternoon Snack
fruit or Veggies or a WW fat free cheese Stick
What ever the family is eating so long as its not bad.
I/e...Chicken w/ Brown Rice & Veggies
Last Night I had mashed sweet potatoes w/ steamed veggies
Treat
Skinny Cow Ice Cream
I don't always need the Snacks but if I do, that's what I have.
I keep my caloric intake to 1,000 per day
My workouts burn 400+ calories. And I log my day on MFP...MY FITNESS PAL
I've lost 40 lbs in 14 weeks. It's 2.85 lbs per week.
My kids keep me on my toes...I have 4 of them and they're 8 and under....so I'm always on the move....even at home!

For me, and this is just me...
But when I go a few days with out working out, my weight loss stops for about 10-14 days! I'm keeping my caloric intake at 1,000-1,200.
I also REALLY don't want the "Melted" look! I'm only 32....going on 33, but that doesn't mean I can't look melted. I chose to make this journey to be healthy and happy. Exercise provides that with lean, toned muscles, and endorphins to help keep us happy.
Start small. And do only what makes you happy. This is YOUR journey!

My Dr said 8 weeks. I'm 14 weeks post op and I still have burning at the port site during some really difficult crunches. When that happens I switch to a less strenuous crunch.

I would say the safest thing would be to set a goal of 2 lbs per week. Your Dr would most likely agree. Banders are supposed to lose 1-2 per week. Anything else is awesome! But the average ideally would be 2 per week. It's the healthiest and safest.

I keep a case of bottled Water in my car at all times. It started as an accident one summer when I forgot to take it in after a grocery run. I was super thirsty and remembered I had the Water. Now' date=' it's a permanent fixture! I have also purchased a lunch-sized soft-side cooler so I can carry healthy foods with me when running errands, traveling, and visiting people. Keeps me out of the fast food lanes![/quote']Me TOO! No matter what, I have water and my own food!

He did it 2 nights ago and man was it great! I also, for the first time had 5 O's! I freaking kid you not! It was amazing!!!!!!!!
Here's a tip, shave (all of it) and its even better!

I'm almost 8 weeks post op. I'm SOOOOOOO glad I have been banded. It took me 2 years to make the decision. I looked into 3 different doctors before finding the one I was comfortable with.
My insurance required a 6 month supervised nutrition plan. I jumped through ALL their hoops and was banded. So far I've lost 27 lbs. my goal is 85 lbs. starting weight 252 current weight 225...I'm 5' 8
It's been the best decision I've made for my body ESP after having 4 kids in 7 years!

I take the Kirkland Signature Brand Stool Softener...compared to Collace. I've been taking it for 17 month now. I have Constipation issues and roids from pushing 4 babies out.
I also put Benefiber in my Protein Shakes.
The Zofran makes me especially constipated. So beware of that.

Oh Sister, I'm with ya! I was banded on 9/27 and have 3cc's in my 10cc band....that's why I call my band Bon Qui Qui!
Is there anyway your Doc can put some more cc's in that puppy???

I get the liquid Nature's Way multi vit/ multi mineral. It doesn't taste fantastic, but it has everything we need.

For me it was looking at the Nutrition Guild. I was taught by my Nutritionist & Dr to keep with in a certain amount of calories AND to be sure I get enough Protein in per day.
They gave me a way to know the amount of grams of protein I needed per day....
Take my current weight, multiply it by .03 and that will give me my Grams Per Day Goal.
I was told to adjust this number every 10 lbs I lose.
Hopefully this helps.
