Almost a year out, getting complacent!
AKSleever replied to Lolo214's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Hang in there! You have to remember daily why you chose to do this! Put pictures up and inspirational quotes and if you reach for something go healthy -
They can slow Weight loss down, however their are some great nut bars out there in the grocery stores that are high in protein have lost 90 pounds in 9 months so very happy with my progress! Plus remember if you stall change something! Some times your body is saying your not getting enough carbs, too much, or you need to up your calories! You have to adjust your own stuff according to your own body!

IS IT TRUE AFTER 6 MONTHS
AKSleever replied to stellabug321's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I think it all depends on how much you have to lose, and how you stick to the new healthy life style change! If you eat a ton of junk and carbs yes it will slow, it also slows the closer you are to goal. The problem with the graphs they show us is that around 6 months people get tired of eating strictly healthy and they start adding the crap back in and sometimes over do it, so as long as you are aware of what you put in your mouth, and that it can affect you then you should be fine! -

Keep it realistic! If your goal is weight loss maybe do 10 pounds or so, small goals are better! Or maybe your goal is to exercise everyday, or to eat correctly! Make your goal personal to fit you!!! -

AKSleever replied to scorpion509's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
