i am 5 days out. i have had the protien shakes, the broth, the blended soups, and some blended overeasy eggs. i had some grits with chicken broth. that helped. i am still having a hard time with the no food thing. very frustrated! -

i did true results richardson texas. i knoq it was all my choice but it should have been part of all programs that you talk to someone about the emotional part of this. -

I went to one appointment. Then that's it. I know I wanted the surgery and I could not loose the weight. I wish they had me talk to someone but they did not. The True Results made things too easy. Like they wanted my money and the money from the insurance. I did the surgery because I knew Walmart would not ever pay for WLS. I did this for myself. IDK. We can not take it back huh. -
I did true results and had a hernia repaired. The band price was 5500

You got your surgery in Mexico? Can you call a band Dr in your area to fix the problem? I would get yourself fixed then yes call the police and a lawyer. -

It helped me some. I would be OK then the ice would melt. Some people say on here to move your shoulders around. I guess its just tine that will make the pain go away. -

I was banded Wed. I was using ice on my stomach for the first day then I switched to heat. I have done the blood clot walk a lot. That helps. Take your meds NO MATTER WHAT. Do not over do it I call it the blood clot walk cause they focused on walking and how important it is to walk. That is good though. I cleared the heating pad with my Dr. -

How long were other people sore on the muscle where the port is attached? I have been taking my meds but it still hurts. I have only been banded for about 41 hours so I know it is healing. Just curoius. -
I have checked at Walmart and Walgreens. The pharmacist says they pulled them off the market. What can I use instead? Dr says they are out there. WHERE?

Have you taken the children's advil or the tylenol cold? Has it helped with the muscle discomfort where the port is? -
I have been on the preop diet. I have had a lot of protien and lots of shakes. I have not lost weight and my surgery is Wed. Is that normal? I am so worried about my liver not being right. Anyone else go through this? I have had a few bites here and there of stuff but not much more.

I was banded yesterday. My port site where the muscle is sore. Other than that I am OK. Good luck all!!!

Most people have the hiatal hernia. Very common. If your insurance will not pay for the weight loss surgery. Some weight loss places will repair that and stick the band in. Then you are paying for the band. I did that. -
Good luck! Both of you! Keep us posted on postop side. I had mine Wed. I was too hungry to be nervous.

How long was your port site sore on that muscle? Had surgery Wed morning. I have a very physical job so I will be out a month.

I talked to the nurse before surgery. She said it was mostly for people with a blind over 40. She has not seen anyone turned away because of their liver. Good luck
